Oh no...considering possible ramifications of this conversation, I can't help but wonder if Lynn is going to sell the group out, out of some moral crusade.

Not sure if I mentioned this. I kinda see Lynn as a person who joins something thinking it was something else, often to turn into one of those people who hates it when they learn more about it.
Like a person who started playing games for the first time on mobile, and thinks they're a "gamer". Then finds and tries to hang out with actual hardcore gamers who've played hundreds of games for decades. Or a person who enjoys some music and joins a music fandom only to learn how deep it goes. Or the person that watches Zootopia once and learns about the word furries, only to get into it and discover something else.
On one hand, it's mostly their fault for not doing their due diligence (research) and learning something they might not have agreed with. Almost all fandoms, groups, societies, etc. go much deeper than what is seen on the surface. Not really a bad thing That means they all have their respective histories, members, goods, bads, things they praise, things they look down on, etc.If you join and like it, yay. If you join and don't like it, that's cool too. But...
On the other hand, it makes you (me) wonder if maybe what you're doing it too extreme or too strange and maybe you don't notice it because you've gotten desensitized / used to it after so long. I've seen someone get another into diapers thinking it was cute, until they learned about AB/DL and the whole diaper using aspect of it. I've seen people start ripping on gamers, and I never stop seeing them rip on furries, because they learned a tad bit more about it and start believing too many of the stereotypes and stigmas that are constantly misinformed by liars and trolls. Makes me feel bad that those people up and leave, almost as if I was personally responsible for putting them off or something.
Anyway, that's how I see Lynn. As though now that she knows a little more, definitely stuff she doesn't agree with, maybe she'll become one of those people who wants to chase them away with torches and pitch forks, and mayonnaise.

That's a pretty good assessment of Lynn. She's close to 40 and has been a member for quite some time. But she's always turned a blind eye to the more hedonistic side of things until today. She got a first had look at how life's essence is collected and learned a bit of history. Also, most of these members aren't at every meeting so a lot of time can pass without getting to know everyone.

I have to wonder if Lucas just went full on ham in retaliation for being called out like that... out of fun, but still an answer all the same. Like he's taking his shame and doing what he can to make everyone else feel the same. It worked, you can see the blush on Gabby's face in #3. Evil... I like it.
