NiGHTS AU

So this is what I have figured out so far for the new AU I've been working on, feel free to make suggestions if you have any!

Sunshine ends up in the world of dreams during his time in suspended animation in Sonic 06's original future after he was blamed for Mephiles' crimes by G.U.N.

He wears a mask and hood/jester hat (I can't decide which one) to disguise himself as a Nightmaren and blend in without suspicion until someone finds and awakens him so he won't be a target of Wizeman and risk having his Ideya stolen, NiGHTS, Owl, and another rebellious Nightmaren named Owlette (I'm still working out more about her) are the only ones that know who and what he really is.

His Nightopia world is like a blend of space and nature, with the sky always resembling the view he had from his days on the ARK and his surroundings being that of lush forests, sprawling flower filled meadows, and snowy mountains (Where Owlette resides to hide from Wizeman and Reala). Shooting stars and meteor showers are common and reduced gravity can also be found in this world.
He doesn't know how much time has passed in the waking world since his imprisonment but it seems to have been at least a year since he showed up at the dream gate.

This isn't the first time that he's been trapped in the dream world, the first time it happened was during his capture after the ARK was invaded. That was when he met NiGHTS and Owl for the first time and ended spending the next 50 years in hiding with them.

His Nightopia world the first time around was far different from what it is now. It started out as an abandoned, empty space that resembled the space station that he once called home, nothing more than a reminder of the lives lost and dreams that were crushed the day he lost his only family and the only place he'd ever known.
