"Um Hello...?"
Alerted, Kitsunami turned around at the presence. All He saw was some red-orange Fennec, He was roughly almost the same height as Him and wore some goggles on.
"C-Can...You help me?"
Kit was honestly surprised to see another mobile in this neck of the woods at night. He just thought He and his sister Surge (Who just plain ditched him here) were the only ones here.
He coughed a bit before speaking shyly. "U-Uhm...what?"
The Fennec pushed up His glasses. "Can You help me? I'm a little lost. See I was with My... "Friends", and the next thing I knew, I was lost somewhere here in this forest. Do you happen to know a way out of here?"
Kit stroked his little chin while He listened to the fennecs explanation.
Although He wanted to question why whilst he spoke, He said the word "Friends" half-heartedly, He decided to not want to get into that, considering the look on his face during A look of sheer annoyance, with some bits of sadness if you look deep enough.
and Who else to know what sadness was like, More than Him?
"..."
After some thought, Kit decided to help the poor fennec by pointing right. "T-The way outs over there, right by those trees. Just keep going straight."
The Fennec became overjoyed to say the least, Running over to Kit and hugging him deeply, Quickly startling the little imposter.
He let go minutes after and shook his hand happily. "Thank you Soooooooo much!"
Kit smiled nervously and backed up a bit. "D-Don't mention it...U-Uhm-"
"Alec, My name is Alec" The fennec confirmed.
"O-Okay." Kit nodded as the Handshake soon ended. "I-I'm Kit."
"Hey..." Kit saw Him tilt his head in concern. "How come you're out here?"
"Just S-Sightseeing is all." Kit lied. He really was looking for His sister.
It appears Alec bought it, as He Nodded in agreement. "Ah, That does make sense!"
Alec then started to go towards the way Kit pointed. "Thanks Again Kit!"
Kit smiled and waved Goodbye. "Y-You're welcome!"
As He left, Kit soon put His hand to his chest and sighed as a weird feeling began to stir in Him. What is this feeling? was it Fear? Pain? Hurt?
But what Kit didn't know... was that it was none of those.
Happy.
It was Happiness.
Happiness at the sheer fact, That He just had a... rather nice conversation.
His tail wagged a bit unknowingly.
He inwardly hoped to see him again.
