The show begins and its spectators are introduced to a sky blue background accompanied by the graceful glissando of piano keys. As the sounds of soft keystrokes remain, little flowers of various colors start scattering on the screen, adding splashes of color onto the background.
“And now…” says a disembodied female-sounding voice. “Potty Training Your Grass-Type.”
As the narrator announces the title, it appears in a bold and light green font, with sunflowers taking the place of every letter “o” to give the program that natural aesthetic Grass-types know and love. With the stage now set, the flowers disperse and the background returns to its sky blue state, providing a slight pause before the narrator starts to speak again.
“Welcome! If you’re watching this, then you’re the proud parent of a Grass-type Pokémon!” she says in a cheerful tone of voice, clearly excited to educate the ones viewing this potty training program. “I’m so happy you chose this program, and I can’t wait to teach you and your little ray of sunshine the potty training process! In fact, there’s another little one who’s joining you as well, and I bet she’s just as happy to meet you!”
A Celebi then toddles onto the sky blue screen, donning a disposable diaper and sporting an adorable smile.
“This is Celia.” says the narrator before addressing the little Pokemon. “Say hi, Celia!”
“Hewwo!” says the Grass-type toddler, widening her smile and cutely waving at the “camera”.
“She may not know it just yet, but Celia will grow up to be quite the powerful Pokemon one day, a Legendary with abilities beyond belief!” as the narrator says this, the Celebi starts sucking on her thumb.
“What’s a wegendawy?” the toddler then asks, taking her thumb out of her mouth.
“You’ll find out soon enough, Celia!” the disembodied voice giggles in response.
Celia then starts toddling around the background, lightly giggling and laughing while the narrator keeps talking.
“Although, abilities aside, Celia isn’t all that different from your own child.” says the narrator. “That’s right, even legendary Pokemon need to learn how to use the potty!”
“What’s a potty?” Celia asks as she gets into a silly and playful pose, standing on her fours and looking at the “camera” with legs spread out and her padded posterior raised to the sky.
“Just like curious little Celia, I’m sure you have lots of questions when it comes to potty training your child, and that’s exactly what this program aims to answer!” says the narrator. “Join Celia and her family on this exciting journey as we take you and your child through the process of potty training! With these tips and tricks, it won’t be long before your little sprout blossoms like a big and beautiful flower!”
As the introduction comes to an end, colored flowers fill the background once again, fading away as the show transitions into the next scene. The scene opens with a shot of a simple two story house, eventually zooming into one of the windows to get an indoor view while flutes function as the background music. Celia is seen playing with some wooden building blocks, now sporting a pink t-shirt with a sunflower design in addition to her disposable diaper. The camera then zooms in some more and focuses on a pair of Pokemon sitting next to each other on the couch, a Leavanny and a Breloom each sporting a satisfied smile.
“These are Celia’s parents, and they love their daughter very much!” says the narrator while the parents watch the toddler play. “Of course, just like you, they’ve had to change lots of diapers over the years, and Grass-type tots have an interesting set of issues when it comes to getting their diaper changed!”
The shot then focuses on Celia playing with her building blocks, smiling as she continues to stack them.
GUUUUUURGLE!!! GUUUUURGLE!!!
“Oh! Did you hear that noise, Celia?” the narrator asks, immediately hearing the loud gurgle coming from the toddler’s tummy.
“Hm? What noise?” Celia responds, too immersed in her playtime to notice the gurgle from tummy and the growing pressure in her bowels.
The Grass-type toddler continues stacking blocks one by one, clapping her hands and smiling in satisfaction once she uses the last one, quite proud of her own creation. However, shortly after building her block tower, Celia sticks her bottom out and bends her knees, now noticing that feeling from down below as she stops her playtime to make a poopy.
“Mmmmph!”
PBLOOOOORP!!!
Celia grunts and dumps a stinky load into her diaper, causing a sizable lump to bulge out from the back as it sags down to her knees. After doing the dirty deed, the Celebi cracks a satisfied smile.
“Uh oh!” says the narrator, followed by a foghorn sound effect and presence of dark green stink lines trailing from Celia’s diaper, adding an exaggerated layer of silliness to the scene. “It looks like Celia could use a diaper change!”
“Nuh-uh! I don’t wanna diapee change!” Celia turns to the camera and crosses her arms, forming a pouty face as she argues with the disembodied voice. “You not even my Mommy and Daddy! You can’t teww me what ta do!”
The toddler then turns around and gets back to looking at her block tower, clearly unconcerned about the stinky diaper sagging between her legs.
“Oh, Celia! It’s time for a diaper change!” says the mother Leavanny as she gets up from the couch, walking up to her daughter and looking at her with a warm smile.
“Nuh-uh! No changies!” Celia responds.
“Sweetie, we gotta get you out of that dirty diaper.” the father Breloom gets up from the couch as well.
“I don’t wanna!” she says before storming off, her droopy diaper swaying back and forth while she runs away.
“This is the issue Grass-type parents tend to deal with when it comes to changing diapers, and it’s probably something you’ve had to deal with too.” says the narrator while the two parents chase Celia around the house, prompting the flutes in the background to play at a faster pace and match the more frantic nature of the scene. “While other children may feel yucky and gross after soiling themselves, Celia here seems quite content with it. You see, for Grass-types, waste is essential for fertilization, so staying in a dirty diaper is a far more pleasant and enjoyable experience for Grass-type toddlers such as herself.”
After running a few more laps around the living room, the Breloom finally catches up to the stinky Celia and grabs her, though the parents are evidently exhausted by this little ordeal.
“As one would expect, this makes changing Celia’s diapers quite the hassle for her Mommy and Daddy.” says the narrator. “You’re probably wondering how to even deal with the fact that your child likes staying in their dirty diapers, how to even convince them to be on board with potty training when they’re completely content with soiling themselves. No need to worry! By the end of this program, you’ll have all the answers you need!”
Once again, the background is filled with flowers of several colors, serving as a smooth transition into the next scene. Once the flowers fade away, the music mellows out and the scene opens to the three family members in the living room, with Celia now in a clean diaper and standing in front of an orange gift box.
“Mommy! Daddy! What’s dis?” Celia asks her parents.
“It’s a special surprise from the both of us! Go ahead and open it up!” they respond.
The Celebi nods her head and eagerly unwraps the box, revealing a bright yellow training potty with a sunflower shaped emblem in the center. Although the toddler didn’t exactly know what she was looking at, the warm colors and the flower-themed design were more than enough to pique her interest.
“Awww, how sweet! Your parents got you a potty!” the narrator says in a playful tone, prompting the music to become more cheerful and peppy.
“Ooooh, ish so pwetty!” says the Grass-type toddler.
“When it comes to potty training, first impressions are extremely important!” says the narrator in a more matter of fact tone, now directing their words at whoever is watching the program. “Even the smaller and more subtle details, like the designs and colors of your child’s potty, are crucial to getting them invested in the process. It doesn’t even matter if your child doesn’t know that much about potty training, so long as you can pique their interest in some kind of way.”
The toddler continues to stare at her training potty with a wide smile on her face, still transfixed by its appealing color and design.
“And if that cute little smile says anything, Celia’s Mommy and Daddy certainly did a good job at getting their daughter interested!” says the disembodied voice.
Celia then picks up her training potty and starts toddling to the back door, now wanting to put it to good use.
“Oh! Looks like Celia’s already giving her potty a go!” says the narrator.
The toddler certainly plans to give her potty a go, though not exactly for its intended purpose. After making her way to the grassy backyard and walking to the family garden, Celia puts her potty down and starts grabbing several handfuls of soil, giggling as she places them into the potty.
“Tada!” Celia grabs a sunflower and places it into the potty, using it like it’s a flower pot.
The camera then shifts to the parents spectating Celia’s silly antics from inside the house, playfully laughing in response.
“When getting started, it’s not uncommon for your child to play around with their potty, but it’s nothing you need to worry about!” says the narrator. “It’s their potty, after all! Let them experiment with it! Let them be silly with it! Such actions show that your child is getting connected with their potty, and it’ll make things much easier moving forward!”
The shot then shifts back to Celia, prompting the toddler to look at the camera with a silly smile while she stands next to her makeshift flower pot.
“Now then, are you ready to use your potty the RIGHT way, Celia?” the narrator asks in an encouraging tone of voice.
“Da wight way?” Celia asks with a confused look on her face, genuinely thinking it’s meant to be used as a flower pot.
“Yep! As pretty as it looks, that’s not a flower pot!” says the disembodied voice with a giggle. “Come on! Let me show you how to use your potty!”
The flowers fill the screen before being replaced by the sky blue background from the introduction sequence, with Celia and her training potty being the only things present at the moment while the music shifts to the playful sounds of xylophones.
“So, um, what do I use da potty fow?” Celia asks the narrator.
“Well, when you need to go pee pee, you just relax and let it out, right?” they ask.
“Uh huh!” Celia says with a nod of her head.
“And when you need to go poo poo, you push and push until it’s out of your system and in your diaper, yes?”
“Yea yea!” the toddler says with another nod of her head.
“Now, instead of doing those things in your diaper, you do it in your potty!” says the narrator.
“Oh! Okay!” Celia says with a smile, now having some understanding of how her potty is supposed to work.
“Then what are you waiting for, Celia? Go ahead and take off your diaper!” they say in an encouraging tone of voice.
Celia fiddles with the tapes of her diaper before ripping it off, giggling as she tosses it off to the side.
“Now what?” she asks the narrator.
“Now just sit on the potty and let nature do its work!” they respond.
Celia then toddles to her training potty and takes a seat, though after a few seconds pass, an annoyed expression forms on her face and the background music descends in pitch.
“Uh oh, that doesn’t look like a happy face.” says the narrator with a slightly more somber tone. “You like the comfy and crinkly feel of your diaper, don’t you?”
“Yea yea.” Celia nods in response.
“And you like how it feels when you go in your diaper, don’t you?”
“Yea yea.” Celia says, certainly preferring the warm feeling of “fertilizer” in her diaper over the colder and harder surface of the potty making contact with her bottom.
“See, if potty training was simply a matter of getting your kid to sit on the potty, then I wouldn’t have to make this program!” says the narrator. “Every child has certain needs when it comes to getting comfortable with the potty, and little Grass-types like Celia are no different!”
As the flowers fill the screen and fade away once again, Celia is now back in the living room with her diaper back on, surrounded by her parents and her training potty as the music becomes a little more upbeat.
“Now then, to make your child’s potty training experience as easy-going as possible, they need to be in their ideal environment!” says the disembodied voice. “Grass-types like to gravitate towards nature, and if there’s one place your child should be when using the potty, it’s in the great outdoors!”
The Leavanny picks up the training potty and walks to the back door while the other two follow her from behind, eventually entering the grassy backyard.
“If possible, you should add some soil to the training potty as well.” the narrator also suggests. “As you already know, Grass-types like the feeling of fertilizer, and it gives your child a soft and comforting surface to sit on while they’re on the potty.
The mother then grabs a few handfuls of soil and places them into the potty, setting the training potty in the middle of the grassy area once that’s done with.
“Ok! The potty preparations are complete, though I’ve still got a couple more tips to share!” says the narrator. “For better results, play outside with your child fairly often. They’ll always be in a better mood when they’re having fun in the sun and experiencing the great outdoors!”
Peppy piano music starts to play and the three Grass-types partake in a game of tag, with Celia gleefully giggling while she runs around the backyard and chases after her Mommy and Daddy.
“Of course, be sure not to lose track of time while you’re playing with your child. If there’s too much time without a potty break, then-
PSSSSSSSSSSSH!!!
The music comes to a halt when Celia stops in her tracks and suddenly soaks her diaper, causing it to sag and stain a dark shade of yellow. The Celebi then bends her knees and scrunches up her face as her bladder empties, indicating that she’s not done filling her diapers just yet.
PFFFFT! BRAAAAAAAAAAP!! PBLOOOORT!!!
The Grass-type loudly passes gas before pushing a big mound of mess into her diaper, causing a large lump to bulge out from the back as thick stink lines trail from it once again. Some trombones play a goofy tune shortly afterwards, adding another layer of silliness to the fact that the toddler just had an accident.
“-they could end up making a mess in their pants!” the narrator finishes their sentence after that brief interruption, all while Celia cracks a dopey grin. “Alright, let’s try that again!”
The sounds of records scratching are heard and the visuals briefly distort before replaying that previous scene of the family playing outside.
“Ok, I think it’s time for a potty break, sweetie!” says the Leavanny.
After she takes off her daughter’s diaper, Celia walks up to her potty and sits down, cracking a satisfied smile as the soft surface of soil gently caresses her bottom, comforted by the soothing sensation of fertilizer. As the toddler continues to sit on the potty, she looks at the grassy terrain and the flower-filled garden, captivated by the colors and compositions of various plants. She then looks up at the blue sky with an even wider smile, staring at the clouds while the warmth of the sun’s rays gently stroke her body.
HISSSSSSSS!!!
A loud hissing sound is heard as Celia relaxes her bladder and releases its contents into the potty, now able to answer nature’s call after being so immersed in nature itself. The toddler then scrunches up her face and starts to grunt, instinctively addressing the pressure from down below.
PFFFFT! PBLOOOORT!! PLOP!!!
Celia empties her bowels and a big solid loudly plops into the potty, sighing in relief once the deed is done.
“Congratulations, Celia! You’ve just taken your first step towards becoming a big kid!” says the narrator in a proud tone of voice, prompting several brass instruments to play a flourish of fanfare in response to this amazing accomplishment.
Celia’s parents happily clap their hands and give their daughter a big kiss on the cheek, causing the Grass-type toddler to feel a grand sense of pride and accomplishment. A few moments later, a bright orange butterfly lands on Celia’s head and a pair of bluebirds make their descent and land beside the potty, as if Mother Nature herself was sending her creations to commemorate this admirable achievement, to celebrate the toddler’s first time using her training potty.
“Hehe, as much as I’d love to keep this celebration going, I’ve still got one more tip to offer.” says the narrator.
Once the celebration dies down and the clean-up is complete, Leavanny pulls out a sunflower from the family garden, adding a decorative touch to the training potty.
“This may be the most obvious tip of them all, but it’s certainly one of the best tips I can give, and that’s to praise your child for using the potty, to reward them for every step they take towards potty training perfection.” says the narrator. “Of course, the commonplace potty chart can work just fine, though for your Grass-type toddler in training, I recommend decorating their potty with one of Mother Nature’s finest flora for each and every success.”
The narrator stops talking for a brief moment as the scene transitions to Celia stepping outside once again and smiling at the sight of her training potty on the grassy terrain, greatly appreciating the addition of the bright yellow sunflower.
“With this method of reinforcement, your child will not only see their potty as a tool for reaching that beloved status of “big kid”, but also as a symbol of personal pride, as a shrine that will get prettier and prettier each time they use the potty.”
Celia then walks onto the grassy ground and toddles to her training potty, eventually undoing her diaper and sitting down on the slightly soil-filled seat.
“Awww, would you look at that! Celia’s using the potty all by herself this time! Such a big girl!” says the narrator in an endearing tone of voice. “I guess it won’t be long before the little sprout is all gro-
“Hey, I twying ta….mmmmph….go potty….mmmmph” Celia interrupts the narrator as she starts to push and grunt, clearly wanting some privacy while she begins to do her business.
“Ah, of course!” says the voice with a chuckle.
The colored flowers then fill up the screen and that sky blue background soon takes their place, with another peppy piano medley starting up while the narrator makes their closing remarks.
“Now that you’re well equipped with all sorts of tips and tricks, you’re more than ready to start potty training your Grass-type!” they say in a cheerful tone of voice. “Thank you to all the parents who watch this program, and best of luck to you and your child!”
The narrator finishes talking and the music starts to approach its final sequence, though right before the show comes to a close, a certain someone decides to say one last goodbye.
“Bye bye!” Celia pops up from the bottom of the screen and she waves goodbye before the screen completely fades to black.
