The warm afternoon sun brightly shines in the sky, the birds chirp pleasant melodies from the top of tree branches, and the flowers flourish and bloom on the grassy fields, providing the perfect afternoon to play outside for big and little kids alike. Well aware of this beautiful day, Izzy toddles over to the front door, wondering if any of her friends were also taking advantage of this amazing afternoon.

“Mommy, can I go outside? I wanna pway wit Emiwy!” says the white-furred wolf with a coat of long and jagged brown hair.

“Why of course you can!” says her mother Isabella, a blue eyed wolf with light gray fur, a purple shirt, and black sweatpants. “Oh, do you need me to walk you to Emily’s house?”

“Nuh-uh! I gonna go dere aww by mysewf!” Izzy responds, flashing a confident smile; as a two and a half year old toddler, someone who could not only walk and run on her own two feet, but also speak in complete sentences, the little wolf was keen on showing off all those skills, and she figured that walking to her friend’s house without having to hold her Mommy’s hand would be a great opportunity for showing them off some more.

“Oh! Alright then!” says her mother before grabbing her pink diaper bag.

Donning her pink t-shirt and her disposable diaper with pink tapes and pink ruffles on the sides, Izzy steps out the door and onto the grassy ground while Isabella follows from behind, feeling rather proud of herself for not requiring the assistance of her mother.

“Aww by mysewf! I going to Emiwy’s aww by mysewf!” Izzy sings aloud while she playfully stomps along the soft grass, wanting the whole neighborhood to know of this accomplishment.

“Why yes you are! Look at my little girl leading the way!” says Isabella in a cheerful tone.

After a couple of minutes, the little white wolf reaches the back patio of her best friend’s house, walking up a small flight of wooden steps and approaching a sliding glass door. With a silly smile on her face, Izzy playfully knocks on the door and presses her face onto the glass panel, surveying the area to see if anybody’s home.

“Hm? Who could that be?” a black-furred and green-eyed skunk wearing a red shirt and denim blue jeans walks up to the back door, chuckling at the silly sight of the two year old toddler. “Oh! Why hello there, Izzy! Hello to you too, Isabella!” Elizabeth looks down at the little wolf and greets her with a gentle smile.

“Pway! Pway! I wanna play wit Emiwy!” says Izzy with a playful shake of her tail.

“Hehe, figured as much!” the mother skunk then turns around and calls out to her daughter. “Emily! Sweetie! A certain someone wants to play with you!”

As the sounds of energetic and excited footsteps echo throughout the house, a little purple skunk with black eyes and a thin streak of wavy, magenta colored hair waddles over to her mother, wearing an undeniably adorable set of attire; in addition to the bright yellow bow on her head, the two year old tot sports a light green t-shirt with a yellow flower symbol in the center, a yellow mini-skirt, and a white diaper with a design pattern of pretty purple hearts.

“Hewwo, Izzy!” Emily greets her surprise guest with a wide smile.

“Hi, Emiwy!” Izzy smiles in return, though not before bringing up her most recent accomplishment once again. “I wawked hewe aww by myself! I didn’t even need ta howd Mommy’s hand!” she adds, putting her hands on her hips in a proud manner.

“Yea! I saw that, Izzy!” says Emily’s mother.

“Mmhm! She sure did!” Isabella giggles and gives her daughter a pat on the head.

“Hehe, yea! Dats awesome!” says the little skunk with a cheerful shake of her bushy tail. “Now wets pway!”

The two toddlers head outside and waddle along the back patio, but Izzy suddenly stops right before the wooden stairs, wanting yet another opportunity to be a silly little show-off.

“Emiwy! Emiwy! Watch dis!” she says to the skunk.

Rather than regularly going down the steps, Izzy bends her knees and does a big jump past the small set of stairs, perfectly landing on her feet and flashing another proud smile.

“Wow! What a jump, Izzy!” says the two parents simultaneously.

“Yea yea! Dat was awesome!” Emily gives Izzy a cheerful round of applause, greatly impressed by that captivating display of coordination. “Ooh! Now I wanna do dat too!”

The little skunk bends her needs and jumps off the steps, playfully giggling and laughing during her brief amount of air time. However, rather than landing flat on her two feet, Emily stumbles the landing and loses her balance, causing her to fall right onto her padded posterior.

“Hehehe, oopsie daisy!” this only causes Emily to burst into a bigger fit of giggles, clearly unconcerned about not being as coordinated as her friend.

“Haha, you feww on youw butt! You feww on youw butt!” Izzy says with a playful giggle of her own, briefly gloating over the fact that she was able to stick the landing and show off her coordination.

“Hehe, I feww on my butt!” Emily laughs along with her and stands back up. “So, what you wanna pway, Izzy?” the little skunk asks her.

The moment Emily asks that question, Izzy cracks a wide smile, knowing exactly what kind of playtime she has in mind. For a competitive little lot like Izzy, someone who took every possible opportunity to show off her skills and superiority, playing games against the other toddlers was her go-to, games with defined winners and losers.

“Wets pway hide and seek!” the white-furred wolf suggests.

“Ooh! Gweat idea! I’ww hide fiwst!” Emily responds.

“Haha, bwing it on! I gonna find you in ten seconds!” Izzy smirks and sticks out her tongue, giving her diapered butt a playful wiggle.

“Hehe, den cwose youw eyes, siwwy!” says Emily with a giggle.

Once Izzy closes her eyes, Emily runs around the grass for a few moments and finds an outdoor bench near a neighboring house, gleefully giggling while she crawls under it. Truth be told, it wasn’t all that good of a hiding spot, as the bench barely concealed her in any way, though the little skunk was more than satisfied with this spot, naively thinking that Izzy wouldn’t be able to see her if she couldn’t see Izzy herself.

“Ha! Weady ow not, hewe I come!” Izzy opens her eyes after around thirty seconds pass.

The little wolf starts running around the grass, and in the span of just a few seconds, she spots a heart-patterned diaper and a long, bushy tail peeking from the nearby bench. With a smug smirk on her face, Izzy bolts to the bench before playfully grabbing Emily by the tail.

“Hah! Found you!” she says with a giggle.

“Eep! You found me!” Emily squeaks in surprise from the sudden tail grab, though said surprise is soon replaced by gleeful giggling, greatly enjoying the game of hide and seek in spite of how quickly she was found.

“Ha! Dat was too easy! Now I gonna show you how ta weawwy hide!” says Izzy in a smug manner.

“Hehe, okie!” Emily crawls out of the bench and stands back up before turning around and covering her eyes.

Izzy giggles and starts running away, covering far more ground than Emily as she encounters a grassy area with many trees. Realizing that hiding behind the biggest tree would be too obvious, the toddler hides behind one of the smaller ones.

“Ok! I’m weady!” Emily smiles and eventually opens her eyes.

The little skunk starts by looking around her previous hiding spot, though she finds nobody around the neighbor’s bench. She then looks behind several shrubs and bushes, but her search is to no avail. She even looks around the perimeter of Izzy’s house, and yet she’s still unable to find her.

“Hehehe, whewe did you go, Izzy? I can’t find you!” the toddler giggles and laughs while the search goes on for several minutes, taking the challenge of finding the white-furred wolf in stride.

Meanwhile, Izzy quietly giggles to herself while she continues hiding behind the trees, feeling rather proud of the hiding spot she chose.

“Ha! I have da best hiding spot evah! Emiwy ish nevah gonna find me!” Izzy says with a smug smile.

SPLLRTCH!!

Her tail suddenly hikes up and she lets out a little gasp as her bowels expel a wet and squishy fart. Regardless of Izzy’s confidence in her ability to walk, talk, run, and jump, among other things, at the end of day she was still a diaper-dependent toddler.

“Noooo, I can’t go poopy now! She gonna find me!” Izzy squirms as an intense pressure hits her bowels, not wanting to spoil her chances of hide and seek success.

BLOOOOOORT!!

The toddler expels a louder and longer fart, causing her to shake and squirm some more while her bowels continue to shift.

“Nggggh….not gonna….” she presses her hands into the tree trunk and slightly bends her knees, desperately trying to hold it in. “Not gonna….ah!

BLORT! PFFFT!! BLOORT!!!

The moment the little tot bends her knees and sticks out her bottom, her bowels give way, causing more crude noises to follow suit as a warm and squishy solid plops into her pampers. Like a dam beginning to break, that slight release causes the pressure to pile up, and that’s when Izzy realizes that she can’t hold it in any longer while her bowels beg for further release.

“Gotta….go poopy!” she squats and succumbs to the pressure. “Hnnnnnng!”

PFFFFFFFT!! PBLOOOOORMPH!!!

A larger and stinkier mass pushes its way into Izzy’s diaper, causing it to slump down to her knees and slightly stain brown as a big bulge protrudes from the back.

“Aaaaah…dats much bettah…” the little wolf can’t help but smile and sigh with relief once she’s finished filling her diaper, glad to rid herself of all of that pressure.

Only a few moments later, Emily’s senses pick up the smelly stench, prompting her to turn around and face the trees.

“Hehehe, ‘tinky! Tinky!” Emily waddles towards the trees and searches for the source of the smell, for it was only fitting for a skunk like herself to gravitate towards such stinky scents.

After walking around for a few more moments, the little skunk looks behind one of the trees and spots Izzy in her full diaper.

“Yay! I found you!” says Emily. “Hehe, you shouwdn’t go poopy in youw diapee when you twying to hide, Izzy! It makes you easy ta find!” she says with an innocent smile.

The little wolf clenches her teeth in frustration, feeling rather bitter over having her hiding spot be exposed in such a manner, especially given that Emily was struggling to find her for so long.

“Grrrr….no faiw! I had da best hiding spot!” You onwy found me cause I had ta go poopy!” Izzy angrily shouts, quite annoyed that a smelly skunk of all animals was pointing out her poopy diapers.

“Hehehe, ish okie! You did gweat!” says the little skunk, congratulating Izzy for her hide and seek skills.

BRAAAAAAAAAAP!!

Emily suddenly lets out another loud fart of her own, a precursor to yet another poopy diaper. Of course, this wasn’t a problem for someone as easy-going as Emily, someone who always answered nature’s call regardless of circumstance; after all, as the saying goes, when you gotta go, you gotta go. Without saying another word, the little skunk stands on her fours and lifts up her diapered rump for all to see, scrunching up her face and spreading her legs to make space for the big stink bomb brewing in her bowels.

“Mmmmmph!”

PBLAAAAARMPH!!!

The moment the toddler’s tail hikes up, a larger load suddenly dumps into her diaper, causing a big bulge to balloon in the back as her poopy pampers slump below her knees. Once the dirty deed is done, Emily cracks a content smile without a care in the world.

“Hehe, I went poopy too!” the little skunk laughs and gives her stinky bottom a playful shake.

In spite of Emily’s contagiously cheerful demeanor, all Izzy could muster was an annoyed shrug, still bitter over what she perceived as a degrading defeat at the hands of a dirty diaper.

“Peeyew! I can smell that from a mile away, sweetie!” Elizabeth calls out to Emily, quickly picking up the foul scent lingering in the air while she lays a yellow changing mat onto the grass. “Come here, Emily! It’s diaper change time!”

“Okay, Mommy!” Emily moves along in a slow and silly-looking waddle, her droopy diaper swaying back and forth while she makes her way back to her mother.

“I fastah den you! I gonna get dewe fiwst!” Izzy waddles as fast as she can with her little legs and her lumpy diaper, treating anything and everything like some kind of competition she had to win.

“Wow! You moving so fast! I gonna do dat too!” Emily says upon seeing Izzy zip right past her.

The sound of the skunk’s joyful laughter fills the air as she picks up the pace, and while the big mess she made in her pants greatly compromised her mobility, it certainly didn’t compromise the amount of fun Emily was having.

“Hehehe, dis is so much fun!” Emily stomps along the grassy surface with a wide smile on her face, not even registering the fact that her friend was trying to race her.

Only a few moments later, she soon loses her footing from speeding up too suddenly, causing her to teeter back and forth as she tries to maintain her balance.

“Woah! Woaaah!”

SMOOOOOOSH!!!

Emily falls right onto her diapered rump, eliciting a loud and squelchy smoosh as she sits down on her stinky mess.

“Hehehe, oopsie daisy!” the stinky skunk simply laughs off her little stumble, finding this accidental action to be far more amusing than annoying.

Clearly in no rush to get her diaper changed, Emily then gets on her hands on knees and slowly crawls her way to the changing mat, gleefully giggling while her dirty diaper drags along the ground. However, before she can make it back to her mother, Emily suddenly gets sidetracked from the sight of a red ladybug standing out amongst the many blades of grass.

“Buggy! Pwetty buggy!” Emily changes course and starts chasing after the brightly colored critter.

Meanwhile, Izzy continues toddling her way to her mother, coming to a stop once she reaches her.

“Hah! I won! I fastah dan you, Emiwy!” says the white-furred wolf with a wide grin, only to turn around and realize that Emily was never racing her in the first place, as the skunk was too concerned with her little ladybug chase to care about such a competition.

With that, Izzy’s  grin quickly reverts back to an annoyed and angry frown, for it was impossible to get any satisfaction from such a victory when her opponent wasn’t even trying to win.

“Yes, you’re a speedy little girl, Izzy, though it looks like you're a stinky one too!” says Isabella as she lays out a changing mat, picking up the little wolf and lays her down on it.

The toddler pouts and crosses her arms while her mother undoes her dirty diaper, wanting to get back to playtime as quickly as possible.

“Hm? Why the long face, sweetie? Aren’t you having fun?” asks Isabella while she wipes and powders her bottom.

“I was gonna win at hide and seek. Emiwy onwy found me cause I had ta poopy…” Izzy bitterly replies.

“Hehe, not everything has to be a contest, silly! Sometimes it’s just about having fun!” her mother responds before snugly securing a new diaper around Izzy’s waist, lifting the little wolf off the changing mat and setting her back on the grassy ground. “And…all done! No more stinkies!”

“Speaking of which, it seems there’s still another stinker on the loose!” Elizabeth giggles and glances at her distracted daughter.

After losing sight of the ladybug, Emily continues to crawl around, captivated by the copious amounts of little critters on the grassy surface.

“Hehehe, buggy, bugg- woah!” Emily’s exploration comes to an end when she feels someone grab her by the waist and scoop her up from behind, looking at her mother with a goofy grin as her droopy diaper sags down to her feet.

“Where do you think you’re going, Emily?” says the mother skunk with a chuckle.

“Hehehe, I was wooking at da bugs, Mommy!” the toddler responds.

“You can get back to looking at the bugs after I change your diaper, silly!” she gives her daughter a playful boop on the nose before carrying her back to the changing mat. “Looks like someone made a big mess for Mommy!” she says with a giggle.

Emily giggles with her and looks up at the sky while her mother lays her down, using her imagination to make sense of the differently shaped clouds.

“Ooh! Dat cwoud wooks wike a sunfwowah!” Emily points at a random cloud while the mother skunk undoes her dirty diaper.

“I’m sure it does, sweetie!” Elizabeth responds.

“Oooh, dat one wooks wike a twee! And dat one wooks wike a wadybug!” the toddler continues pointing at the clouds while her mother wipes and powders her bottom, letting her vibrant imagination do its work.

“Quite the active imagination you’ve got there, Emily!” she says before sliding a new diaper under Emily’s legs and snugly taping it up, setting her back on the grassy surface once she’s all cleaned up. “There! Now you can get back to looking at all those bugs!”

Emily nods and toddles back to Izzy, eager to get back to her exploration.

“Izzy! Izzy! I know what ta do next! I wanna wook at da wittwe buggies!” says Emily with a wide smile; this prompts the little wolf to silently nod in agreement, though she only agreed for the sake of fairness, as Izzy was the one who picked the first game for them.

As Izzy and Emily resume their playtime, Isabella and Elizabeth look at each other with silly smiles on their faces, amused by the quirks of their daughters.

“My silly little Izzy is always so competitive! You know how wolves are, right? Always wanting to be the one at the top, always wanting to be the apex predator, so to speak.” says the mother wolf with a giggle. “It can be a lot to deal with, but I can’t say no to my little girl wanting to sharpen her skills!”

“Hehe, and you know that skunks are always stinking up the place one way or another! Emily certainly makes some big messes for such a little girl!” says the mother skunk with a giggle of her own. “Changing her diapers is quite the task in of itself, but there’s nothing I wouldn’t do for my little bundle of joy!”

The two parents then watch their daughters crawl alongside each other and explore the area, stumbling upon several kinds of cute little critters ranging from the ants methodically marching along the ground the grass to the dragonflies and honey bees buzzing around in the air.

“Hehehe, so many buggies! Dewes buggies in da sky too!” Emily says with wide and awestruck eyes, captivated by the various kinds of insects scattered around the area be they on the ground or in the air.

At first, Izzy didn’t really understand why Emily found such an activity to be so enjoyable, as it wasn’t exactly a game with defined winners and losers, nor was it a game that involved the application of some kind of skill, but rather a simple sightseeing adventure of Mother Nature’s teeniest and tiniest creations. Although, after the passing of several minutes and the discovery of several species of bugs, a small part of her starts to realize that not everything has to be a competition for it to be enjoyable, as she had to admit that she was having some fun casually crawling around the grass and observing different kinds of bugs, appreciating each one for their unique characteristics. However, it’s not much longer before her competitive spirit makes a quick return, prompted by the sight of a bright blue butterfly gracefully gliding onto a nearby tree branch.

“Hehe, watch dis, Emily! I bet you can’t do dis!” Izzy toddles over to the tree with the resting butterfly, wanting to give herself another chance to show off.

“Ooh! What is it, Izzy?” Emily asks, wondering what the white-furred wolf is going to do.

“I gonna cwimb dis twee and catch dat buttahfwy!” she responds.

“Wow! You can cwimb twees too? Dats so awesome!” Emily says with a wide smile.

“Yea! Ish supah easy!” says Izzy with a smirk.

The little wolf then jumps up and uses her little claws to latch onto the tree, staring at the branch with the resting butterfly while she gradually climbs her way up.

“Wow! You cwimbing so high, Izzy! I dunno how ta cwimb twees!” says Emily, clearly impressed by her climbing capabilities.

Hah, but I do!” the toddler responds as she continues climbing. “Fow me, cwimbing twees ish easy pea-

PSSSSSSSSSSHHH!!!

Too focused on climbing the tree and bragging about her skills to even notice the pressure in her bladder, Izzy suddenly soaks her diaper, causing it to sag and stain and a noticeable shade of yellow. As her bladder releases its contents, the weight of Izzy’s saggy diaper starts to drag her down, significantly impeding her climbing progress.

“Uh ohs! You made a pee pee!” Emily giggles at the sight of Izzy’s soaked diaper.

“Hmph…I still gonna catch dat buttahfwy…” determined to not let another dirty diaper ruin her shot at successfully showing off her skills, she tries to make her way back up the tree, slowly inching her way up while her saggy and sloshy diaper significantly hinders her mobility.

PSSSSSSSSSSH!!!!

Unfortunately, the exertion that comes with climbing the tree only causes this pressure to amplify by the second, causing her bladder to reflexively release the rest of its contents as her diaper sags some more and stains a darker shade of yellow.

“Noooo….come on…..ah!” with the increased weight of her droopy diaper further dragging her down, Izzy’s butterfly catching quest unfortunately comes to an end as she descends from the tree and watches the insect fly away, and she definitely wasn’t happy about that. “No faiw! I was gonna catch dat buttafwy!” she says with an angry stomp of her foot, aggravated by what she perceived as yet another defeat due to a dirty diaper.

“Wow! Dat was so awesome, Izzy! You cwimbed so high!” Emily smiles and cheerfully claps her hands, once again amazed by her friend’s set of skills.

Feeling far too upset to even acknowledge this compliment, Izzy angrily stomps her way back to her mother, her soggy diaper swaying and sloshing in response to her movements.

“Oh! Looks like someone’s a soggy little girl!” Isabella giggles and lays her daughter down on the changing mat, though she’s quick to notice Izzy’s grumpy face. “Hm? What’s the matter now, sweetie?”

“I wanted ta catch da buttafwy! I was gonna show Emiwy my cwimbing skiwws!” Izzy pouts while her mother starts changing her.

“Hehe, no need to be uptight, sweetie! There’s always next time!” says the mother wolf as she cleans Izzy’s bottom and diapers her up, getting a chuckle out of her daughter’s competitiveness. “Now then, there’s someone who still wants to play with you!” Isabella lifts the toddler off the changing and lets her go.

A wide smile soon returns to Izzy’s face as she waddles back to Emily, knowing that she’d be the one to pick the next game.

“Emiwy! I know what we gonna pway next!” she says to the skunk. “I wanna pway tag!”

“Ooooh, yea yea yea!” Emily playfully waggles her bushy tail and jumps in place, excited at the prospect of such a game. “Chase me! Chase me!”

The little skunk gleefully giggles and laughs as she suddenly breaks into a run, now commencing this game of chase. The little wolf follows suit and breaks into a run as well, quickly closing the distance on Emily.

“Hehehe, you so fast, Izzy!” Emily quickly glances from behind and picks up the pace.

However, Izzy is able to match this sudden surge of speed with relative ease, and in a rather short span of time, she tags the toddler.

“Ha! Gotcha! Dat was too easy!” says Izzy with a smirk.

“Hehehe, ya got me!” says Emily with a giggle. “Now I gonna chase you!”

“Catch me if you can!” Izzy playfully sticks out her tongue before breaking into a run.

Emily resumes her running as she trails behind the little wolf, gleefully giggling and laughing while doing so.

“Hehehe, I gonna get ya!” says the little skunk with another laugh.

As several more minutes pass, Izzy proves to be far too fast for Emily for catch, though this doesn’t faze her in the slightest; simply appreciating this game of tag for what it is, she continues to gleefully giggle and laugh while she happily runs along the grassy terrain, greatly enjoying herself regardless of circumstance.

GUUUUURGLE!! GUUUUURGLE!!!

Although, after all of that playing around, it’s only a matter of time before Emily gets the urge to go potty again, feeling a big pressure in her bladder and bowels. With this sudden shift in priorities, the toddler stops in her tracks and focuses on filling her diaper.

PSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHH!!!

Her bladder is the first to be released as Emily suddenly soaks her diaper, causing it to sag and stain a dark shade of yellow as it swells up and becomes rather warm.

“Pee pee!” Emily looks down at her soggy diaper with a silly smile.

“Uh oh! Someone needs a diaper change!” says Elizabeth with a giggle, quickly taking notice of her daughter’s wet diaper.

However, it’s not long before before the toddler gets into that all too familiar pose, the pose that told everyone she was about to make a big poopy in her pants; the skunk scrunches up her face as she spreads her legs and lifts her bottom and tail to the sky, indicating she far from done with filling her diaper.

“Oh! I see you’re not done yet!” says the mother skunk with another giggle.

PBLOOOOOOOORMPH!!!

She drops the stink bomb the moment her mother finishes that sentence, causing a big bulge to suddenly form in the back of her diaper as it slumps onto the grassy ground.

“Boom boom!” Emily says with a silly fit of laughter, retaining that content and carefree smile on her face.

“Yes, you made a very big boom boom, Emily!” Elizabeth responds. “Now let’s get you out of that stinky diaper, sweetheart!”

While the little skunk waddles back to her mother, Izzy puts on a prideful smile, feeling quite accomplished over the fact that Emily hadn’t come close to catching her throughout the entire game of tag.

“I win! I win!” says the little wolf with a playful shake of her padded rump. “Did you see dat, Mommy? I was wunning so fast!”

“You certainly were, Izzy! A great game from the both of you!” Isabella replies.

Conversely, Emily never needed to show off or one-up others in order to have a good time, as any opportunity to play with her friends was an immensely enjoyable experience for the bushy tailed toddler.

“Hehehe, dat was so much fun!” says the skunk while her mother lays her down on the changing mat and undoes her dirty diaper, greatly enjoying all of the games her and Izzy played together.

“Awwww, I’m glad to hear it, sweetie!” Elizabeth looks at the toddler with a wide smile while she lifts up her legs and cleans up her bottom.

As Emily continues to get cleaned up, a great idea comes to her mind, figuring she’d like to further capitalize on these fun times with her friend.

“Oooh, Mommy! Mommy! Can Izzy come to ouw house? I wanna pway some mowe!” she says while her mother secures  a clean diaper around her waist and bottom.

“That’s a lovely idea, sweetie!” Elizabeth responds.

“I wholeheartedly agree!” says Isabella, overhearing their little conversation. “Would you like to stay at Emily’s house for a while, Izzy?” she asks her.

“Uh huh! Uh huh!” the little wolf responds.

With that decided, the two parents put the changing supplies back into their respective diaper bags before heading back to the house with the two toddlers.

“Now then, I suspect you two are hungry from all of that time outside, yes?” Elizabeth asks them.

“Mmhm!” the two tots reply in unison.

“Ok! I’ll go ahead and get dinner started!” she says.

As the mother skunk walks to the kitchen, Emily looks at Izzy with an ecstatic smile before bolting upstairs to her bedroom, knowing the perfect way to pass the time before dinner.

“Izzy! Izzy! Wet’s dwaw!” she comes back downstairs with several sheets of paper and a big box of crayons.

Izzy nods her head in response, figuring she couldn’t pass up on yet another opportunity to show off her skills. After waddling their way to the living room, the two tots plop onto their padded rumps and grab a single sheet of paper.

“I gonna make da best dwawing evah!” Izzy says as she grabs a handful of crayons.

“Yea! Me too!” Emily smiles and grabs some crayons as well.

The two toddlers sit in relative silence and stare at their respective sheets of paper, quite concentrated on their coloring. After around twenty minutes, Izzy is the first to finish their drawing, feeling fairly accomplished about their creation.

“Wook at dis, Emiwy! Isn’t it awesome!” she shows her a simple drawing of three sunflowers on grassy terrain.

“Oooh, I wuv it!” the skunk replies with a cheerful smile. “Hewe’s mine!” Emily shows her a colorful landscape filled with flowers and bugs along with a light blue sky and a smiling sun in the top right corner, proving to be quite a polished drawing considering the capabilities of a toddler.

Unfortunately, rather than reciprocating a positive reaction, Izzy responds with an annoyed and angry frown, not too fond over the fact that Emily was better at something than her.

“Huh? How’d you make dat? Grrr…why can’t I do dat?” says the little wolf, now feeling like her own drawing wasn’t all that great by comparison.

“Hehe, ish okie! I tink youws is stiww supah awesome!” says the little skunk with a wider smile.

“No ish not…” Izzy replies with a pouty cross of her arms.

“Yesh it is!” Emily responds.

“Nuh-uh!”

“Yeah-huh!”

“Nuh-uh”

“Yea-huh!”

“Hm? What’s going on, girls?” asks Isabella as she walks towards the two toddlers, taking note of this back and forth conversation.

“Mommy….hew dwawing ish so much bettah dan mine…” whines the little wolf.

“Maybe so, but that doesn’t detract anything from your own drawing, no?” Isabella picks up the drawing and looks at it with an appreciative smile.

“So…ish good?” Izzy raises an eyebrow in confusion.

“Yes! It’s very good, sweetie!” the mother wolf giggles and gives her daughter a proud pat on the head.

“Yea yea! Ish vewy good!” Emily adds with an affirmative nod of her head.

“I’ve told you this so many times, silly! Not everything’s about comparing and competing!” says Isabella with another giggle. “Being the best is far from the only way to have fun, you know!”

As the toddler ponders over those words, Izzy’s mind immediately goes back to the time her and Emily spent searching for bugs, admittedly enjoying herself even in that non-competitive context. Conversely, on the occasions where her intentions were solely to win or one-up her friend, be it during the game of hide-and seek, the time she tried to climb the tree, as well as this current act of coloring, more often than not she just ended up getting upset when the standards she set for herself weren’t met, even if it was due to factors completely out of her control.

“Hmm…..”

She then glances at Emily, someone who didn’t feel the need to show off or one-up others. Regardless of circumstance, even in the games she wasn’t very good at, she always seemed to sport such a cheerful and carefree demeanor, always enjoying herself to the very end. Perhaps, Izzy thought to herself, she could learn to be a little more like Emily, to not be so competitive all the time.

“Hmmmm….”

Izzy then looks down at her drawing once more, this time looking at it for what it is, not what it isn’t. Without making any more comparisons, she comes to realize that her drawing is pretty good after all, quite appreciative of the pretty sunflowers on her sheet of paper.

“Yea! It does wook good!” says the little wolf with a wide smile, finally learning to let go of such self-imposed standards.

“See? I told you so, sweetie!” Isabella gives her daughter another proud pat on the head, though she senses a pleasant aroma emanating around the area shortly afterwards. “Oh, and it seems like dinner is just about ready!”

“Right you are!” says Elizabeth as she completes the preparations. “Alright, girls! Dinner is ready!” the mother skunk places two plates of bite-sized chicken nuggets and baby carrots onto the kitchen table.

Excited at the prospect of something to eat, they stand up and toddle over to the table, seating themselves and staring at their plates with satisfied expressions.

“Hehe, your food is gonna get cold if all you do is stare at it!” says Elizabeth with a giggle.

The toddlers nod their heads and pop the bite-sized nuggets and carrots into their mouths, greatly enjoying these finger foods. After clearing off their plates, they look at each other with wide smiles on their faces, knowing exactly what to do next.

“Wanna dwaw some mowe?” Izzy is the first to ask.

“Yea yea yea!” Emily responds with an eager nod of her head.

The little skunk and the little wolf head back to the living room and make some more drawings with their several sheets of paper, ranging from flourishing flowers, to itty bitty bugs, or whatever else was on their mind at the moment. No longer bound by her own competitive constraints, Izzy feels herself getting into a certain kind of flow with each drawing she finishes, so immersed in this activity that she completely loses track of time itself.

GUUUUUURGLE!! GUUUUUUURGLE!!

Izzy eventually snaps back to reality when her tummy lets out a loud gurgle and a familiar pressure forms in her bowels, indicating that their dinner was now approaching its way out from all the time they had spent drawing. With a carefree smile on her face, the little wolf stands up and clenches her fists before bending her knees and sticking out her bottom.

“Mmmmph!”

PBLOOOOORP!!!

Izzy grunts and pushes a smelly mound of mess into her diaper, causing a noticeable lump to bulge out from the back as it sags to her knees.

“I poopied!” she says with a playful giggle, no longer feeling any derision towards her dirty diapers.

Shortly after relieving herself, Izzy looks at Emily and spots the skunk in her signature pooping pose, indicating that the bushy-tailed toddler also had this exact idea in mind.

“Mmmmph!”

PFFFFT! BRAAAAAAAAP!! PBLAAAAAAAARMPH!!!

Emily lets out a loud bout of flatulence before taking a big dump in her diaper, causing it to slump down to her feet as the stinky skunk cracks a silly smile.

“I poopied too!” she says with a giggle of her own.

The two toddlers then fill the house with their carefree laughter, though of course that was far from the only thing emanating around the area.

“Awww, looks like we’ve got some little artists over here!” says Isabella with a wide smile, impressed by the many drawings they’ve made.

“Yes, and it smells like we’ve got some little stinkers over here as well!” says Elizabeth with another giggle. “Alright, now lay down, you two!”

They lay down on their backs as their mothers acquire all of the needed supplies from their respective diaper bags, gleefully giggling while they wait for diapers to be changed. With all of the supplies in hand, the two parents quickly dispose of their daughter’s dirty diapers, thoroughly wiping and powdering their bottoms before diapering them up.

“All done!” Isabella picks Izzy up and affectionately nuzzles her cheek before setting her back down. “Now then, I think it’s about time we head back home! You’ve done a lot of playing around today!”

“Yes, I believe it’s almost bedtime for you as well, sweetie!” Elizabeth picks Emily up and gently pats her on the back. “See you soon!”

“Bye bye, Izzy!” Emily smiles and waves goodbye.

“Bye bye, Emiwy!” Izzy waves goodbye as well.

“Well then, I’ll see you all later!” Isabella puts her diaper bag over her shoulder and turns around to leave, though not before retrieving something rather important. “Oh! Can’t forget your drawings either, sweetie!” she says before grabbing the several sheets of paper.

After everyone says their goodbyes, the two wolves walk back home, both of them feeling quite satisfied with Izzy’s most recent insight. Of course, the little toddler would still take any opportunity she could to sharpen and show off her skills, though now she no longer viewed Emily and other potential playmates simply as sources of competition, having learned a thing or two from her more carefree companion.

Wolves are typically known for their competitive instincts, for their desire to be at the top, and little wolves like Izzy are no exception to this either. Although, another animal friend of hers, someone who's a lot more carefree (in addition to being a lot stinkier, among other things), eventually gets them to learn to ease up every once in a while.
