It'd be hilarious if the demon manifested vertically. Just slowly started to lift upwards out of the summoning circle. Once he's halfway through/up, Barbara just reaches in and smudges a line, breaking the circle, closing the portal... and cutting the demon in half. "Huh... well, that was easy."

All these characters and poses look so great. The action poses on our heroes there are particularly good. The light from that excellently designed magic circle? Also great.
It's interesting how the folks on panel four have a window cracked, guarding it with axe and sickle, while the others have windows boarded up, and the church has that little open window at the back like 'There's not gonna be any little demons.' and I guess there won't be? XD
I also noticed on a third look, your style tends towards brightness a lot. Probably easier to read as a viewer. I was just thinking, that time of day, in buildings like those, with candlelight? You'd barely be able to see anything. Surprisingly warm though, candlelight.
I'd like to ask, do you paint the stones on the buildings walls and floors one at a time, do you use a tool for the backgrounds, or are they perhaps done with well masked 3D modelling?
... and yes, the Sheerks steal the heccing show. Geez. Way to insert some levity right in the middle. XD
This is such a weird world! It seemed like magic wasn't a well known thing in the future, or at least folks might not all believe in it? But then we go to this period, and not only have they got magic all over, there's Sheerks. I thought it was like, a much more close furry earth analogue, but apparently they also have very different livestock animals. Maybe other wild animals, too...
