A perfectly safe place to stand
I have always been self-conscious about asking for help when it comes to art. But I got into a bind and needed to ask my fellow artists if they could lend a hand with some anatomy issues I was having. And they were all SUPER helpful and I'm very happy they helped me.

But seeing those red lines made me feel like EVERYTHING was terrible on it.

I've had to reach out to some people to help me with shading issues and they were helpful too. I find most artists love to share their craft and meeting others interested in the same hobby/work.

I'd be lying if I claimed I didn't know this feel....

Nah, mate.  Not everything is terrible.

I mean, just looking at what the other artist did with the hands seems more like a stylistic choice than any sort of reflection on the quality of your drawing.  Moving the rock ridge downwards has zero to do with the quality.  The only part that really seems to be a clear attempt at "Correction" is the neck.

But then again, I'm not much of an artist.  I rely on 3D stuff that's largely automated to keep my stuff looking proportional.

This was actually all me. I did the black lines then "redlined" my own drawing. ;) It's just satire.

It sounds weird but I think there's a negative association with 'red pen' correction that stems from school. So if it actually bothers you at all, another color. But, rough sketches need adjustment once they're down and there's nothing wrong with that. It's just the next level of shaping. =)
