The thickness of all the Opal Barks and all those Twilight Prowlers prevented efficient mining sites within the cave(mostly from Alterra), that allows it to maintain it's beauty. Well lit by Glow Caps and crystal insects, one of the tunnels leads to the Otakus' home

A single entry point somewhere in the Dark Opal Forest leads to it's large cave. The Dark Opal Forest Cave has a near endless amount of opals within every bit of rocks. Silicol Sprouts scattered among the cavern floor, and Shaded Vines abundantly grows from the ceiling. Damsel Dazzles are more common than Glitterfly here, along with Etheral Cobras.

The cave has several tunnels that leads to more caves of flora and fauna. Some areas are flooded with large lakes, Tetracanths and Needle Squids thrives here, along with Fiber Lilies growing along the lake boundary. Damsel Dazzles spawns here.

Deeper into the cave, plants life would become absence, even Glow Caps becomes a rare sight. Apart from the increases of opal deposits, Twilight Prowlers lurks in the darkness among these dark tunnels. At the deepest part of these tunnel system, leads to the sole entrance to an even darker cave, any Twilight Prowlers would avoid this specific spots. Perhaps they're afraid of what lies within that cave...

A secret tunnel leads to a plain surrounded by more trees, where the Otakus lives.
