R H, Jr. has several comics on his page http://www.rhjunior.com/. Most of the comics are no longer being updated and most are only being updated sporadically. He's got a wonderful sense of humor that I always describe as a redneck sense of humor. If you're interested in some wonderfully written and drawn comics, you should check out his comics.

Hopefully she can make off with the Holy Water needed and not bite her in the bottom afterwards. Also, I think this priest is learning a few things about faith!
And that sheep cub is adorable - also innocent by the looks of it, not fearing the 'monster'.

Hoo boy, lot to unpack in that comment. Let me preface this statement by presuming that you're talking about Catholicism given the context.
First, that's a pretty broad generalization, and in my experience, incorrect. I've met quite a number of priests in my time, and I honestly can't think of a single one that would turn away someone genuinely trying to turn away from sin. Is it possible? Sure, but they're the highly visible exception, not the rule.
Second: we are, all of us, every single oneunworthy of salvation . That's half the point. We don't deserve it, but we get it anyways if we ask. That's not hyperbole, by the way, it's literally part of mass. "I know that I am unworthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word and I shall be healed".
Lastly, that phrase you used 'saved already'. The whole idea of being 'saved' as a singular, perpetual event is a Protestant concept, not a Catholic one. Protestants get 'saved', and then they stay 'saved', regardless of whatever they do or decide in the future, a singular action absolving them of any and all future behavior. Hence why confession and contrition are (largely) a Catholic thing. Catholics on the other hand, believe that the path to righteousness is a continual lifestyle. You aren't just 'saved'. You make a choice, then you live that choice. And if you don't, then, well, clearly you lack proper conviction. Being 'saved' is something you do every single day of your life, through prayer, belief, and behavior.

I think you misunderstood what I was saying. I was saying we shouldn't judge someone as being worthy of something simply because of how that person looks. This priest had done the same thing.

I think the fact the priest was willing to hear her out AT ALL says more about him than most will realize. Good on her for the self control too, so many sapient creatures lack that ability these days.
