Looks like a defiant young lad.

What did he do?

Probably bullying the other students. Could be spray painting the side of the school. Perhaps simply ditching class for the fifth time this week.

Speaking of bullies, in one of my stories, which has the time setting in the year 1960, there are three pitbull teenagers who are high school bullies. The journal linked below gives an overview of them.

They finally meet their demise one night while having a highway race with an otter friend where a $100 bet was waged...That's like $1,000 is now days. The otter was driving a 1958 Studebaker Goldenhawk (high performance car), and Biff (one of the bullies) was driving Daddy's 1959 Cadillac with the other two bullies riding with him. During the race, Biff lost control of that 1959 Cadillac at 120 mph and flipped it, killing the three of them.

Beginning on page 13 of the postlude linked below, characters who are up in their elderly years in the year 2018 recall that fateful night of that highway racing accident in the year 1960.
