A humored giggle left the snow monkeys' lips. Hand resting loosely on her chimpanzee companion's arm. "So, where would you like to go tonight love?"
Said companion gave her a raised eyebrow in response, "Isn't tonight supposed to be about you? It's your birthday after all."
"Yes, but I want you to have fun as well."
They pass by an advertisement section, both not paying much mind to it. It was the usual news littering Lylats' planets lately. The threat of war never did make it easy for people to recover from old trauma.
"That's beside the point though, Alaye. Is there anything specific that you want to do tonight?"
Alaye hummed in response, mulling it over before answering, "Why don't you surprise me. You do know what I like after all."
"Well, if that's the case, then how about that new restaurant downtown? The one whos' food that Angel said was to die for."
"That sounds like a lovely idea Zona."

I gave Zona heterochromia. Now, she does wear a colored contact over the green eye. She did that only to prevent bullying while in school.
Now it's just a habit that she has a hard time not doing. Alaye is there to help her though, since she loves Zonas' eyes.
