The bunk is always so comfy after a long trek outside. At those times just sitting and chilling with some music feels the best, that is until you get some visitors in your dorm room, then that feels even better.

Ah, a bunk bed... bottom bunk for when you want to feel enclosed in and protected with curtains/blankets put up around the parameter; and top bunk when you want the height and the view. Never had the need for a bunk bed (only child), but have been to friends' houses that have one. The only grievance was when you had that irritating bunkmate that was somehow always the one on the top lol.
