----
There was an period of peace after the war. The side Taylor chose had won, but at what cost? There was much unrest among the mammals and the birds. Taylor was treated like a celebrity for her role in the war and for being that figure of prophecy that was foretold. For as many who loved her for it, there were just as many that hated her too, but she cared little for any of it. She personally hated being such an important person in history, but she had little choice in the matter after all events had played out. Still, with as much freedom as she was given after the war to live out her life in a form of imprisoned luxury, she still felt trapped. She would take these opportunities to head out to the beaches near Al-Talkar and gaze out over the sea and remember on fonder times when her mother would take her out to the ocean near Zabokar and let her play in the sand and splash in the water. It was these quiet moments that made her feel, if only for a fleeting instant, that she was back home with her mother and enjoying her childhood. She wasn't alone these days now since war's end. She had her family with her: Her two brothers, her cubs and her now husband, Jake. Even if guarded at a distance with sentinels watching her every move to make sure she did not step outside the bounds of her station, she could lean back against a tree and just imagine reality away - at least until Ahya decided to bring her back to it with a loving lick.
