Unlike his friends Ion and Zephyr, Flint hates the winter months, being a desert fennec fox unlike his friends who are arctic foxes, the cold of his northern climate home gets to him in the winter months, he sometimes wonders why his ancestors migrated from the traditional southwestern desert lands to the far north, but then he realizes if they never did, he would of never met Ion and Zephyr which creates an conundrum on his feelings for the place in which he lives
