I did too. I don't have the nostalgic memories of Goldeneye that some people do, but I do remember whiling away the night with my friend's Goldeneye in that four screened chaos.

OY I got this ref! I know everybody in the N64 era was creaming themselves over GOlden Eye but I Allways much prefered Perfect Dark, I found the games story more interesting and the multiplayer more fun.
but thats not to say Golden eye wasnt also fantastic.. I played the shit out of that game too.

I'd say Perfect Dark took everything Goldeneye did well and just improved and refined it. I prefer it and say it's better, but Goldeneye did have a way bigger impact when it came out because it was SO ahead of the curve at that time. Perfect Dark was a success, but it didn't sell quite as well as it's predecessor. Not because of any quality issues, it was just close to the end of the N64's life cycle and they made it SO good that you needed that pesky expansion pack to even play it correctly XD But yeah, both of them are great games.
