Background/History
Her childhood was filled with a lot of tension. As the only child, her parents wanted her to grow up and be sophisticated, so they basically controlled her and manipulated her circumstances so that she would grow up to be a fine lady. Ballroom dances, upper-class meetups, etiquette lessons, etc. Basically, she wanted none of that. At age 12, she tried to run away, but an army of police officers sent by her parents hunted her down and brought her back to their posh home. But she managed to finally run away at age 15, jumping onto a bus and riding away in the dead of night. She didn't stop until she reached Fortunopolis, where her view of the world expanded.
Upon reaching Fortunopolis, she quickly discovered that her etiquette training was useless and pointless, so she became a party gal, joining some clique that was meant for fun and games and sleeping around (Serenity sometimes lies about her age) before being ousted to the cops who were sent by her parents. She's been successfully on the run since then, but some friends who didn't sell her out helped her hide and change her appearance. This is the main reason why she looks like a fox-wolf hybrid now - "a small price to pay to avoid going back to that prison", she says.
Eventually, she became a hit as an exotic escort (yes, that kind) before enough compliments on her beauty led her to become a performer at a strip club. Her years of experience on the streets and in that clique helped her gain some skills she put to the use, until the fateful day that Vengeance Drake first saw her dancing on the stage. Ordering a private room, Serenity thought the lizard wanted his way with her, but instead (very OOC for the scale!) he wanted to talk and get to know her. This brought such a startling relief to the wolfess, so she welcomed the change. She chatted for quite some time, and as they parted company with the dawn, they both expressed desire to meet again.
During work hours and off, they met up and chatted together, went on outings, and assisted one another with work. (Venge recruited her to the Resistance's cause, and the thrill of adventure helped seal the deal for her. Meanwhile, Serenity asked Venge for help with some clients who have been particularly abusive to some of the other girls in the strip club.) Not a short while later, they slept together for the first time, and found that they were indeed meant for each other. Venge moved into her place immediately afterward.
Following a scare that she might've gotten pregnant (false positive), Serenity told Venge about her past and history, and he understood perfectly why they ended up together. He respects and honors her wishes to never be a mother, to avoid repeating history with her children. The memories are too painful.
Some time later, a new girl joined the strip club's employees as a waitress. Ms. Mocha Rabbit was excited to be part of the group, but due to some predetermined animosity between the performers and the rest of the floor crew, she was immediately shunned and shamed for wanting to get in on the action with the clients, directly. Until the day of her "big break". Hearing this, the other performers did the least sensible thing and began bullying her, except for Serenity, who came to the rabbit's aid and began befriending her (and even training her). A few weeks later, a bad date night for Serenity meant she needed help getting home safely, and she called Mocha by mistake. Mocha helped her get home safely, and that was how Venge and Mocha first met.
Yet another few weeks later, the poor rabbit was kicked out of her living situation, due to the prejudiced landlady finding out what Mocha did for a living. Serenity was quick to convince Venge to let her live with them.
Relatives/Family
Blood relatives: one father, one mother, no siblings (only child). Not present in her life, status: alive but distant.
Dependents: two life partners (Venge and Mocha), one half-daughter (Medley) who thinks of her as "Aunt Serenity"
Past relationships "clients": too many to list, too impersonal to care
World/Setting
Occupation: exotic dancer at a club called Feathertails' Bar
Habitation: lives with Venge, Mocha, and Medley in a condo in Fortunopolis
Body
Tall goth GF :3
Magenta stripe in her hair matching her magenta eyeliner and claw/nail color
The fur on her arms below the elbows and on her legs below the knees are trimmed down and colored brown. Her tail and hair tips are also dyed white, where they're naturally supposed to be all-gray. All of this is done to make her appear like she's a gray fox / wolf-fox hybrid, to add to her exotic nature. She keeps this fur trimmed whenever she expects to work, but in case of long periods of time away from work, it'll usually grow out fluffy and light gray like the rest of her body. This only happens in rare times like hibernation, quarantine, long vacations, etc.
Clothing
Casual wear includes:
- maroon sarong that is tied with a bow over her right hip, which parts over the right leg, ending in golden beads at the bottom
- maroon sandals
Topless due to mane
Accessories
Two piercings of simple gold-band earrings on her left ear
Wears gold-colored hoop bracelets that always manage to stay on her wrists
Tail is tied up at the base with a yellow hairtie; this makes her tail appear more fox-like, as without it, there's a bit of added fluff under her tail that makes her noticeably more wolf-like.
