If there's one thing this version of Manic is good at, it's able to tell what someone needs pretty quickly. Poor Chuck, he's clearly too much of an awkward gay to get any dick when out in town. He's bad at flirting, and just never seems to give off the right signals...
Luckily, Manic knows that if you can't use your words, you can always use your looks, and he knows just what gets some guys' heads turning. After a trip to a store specializing in punk and goth clothing, he selects a few things for the curious old man.
It isn't long before the professor is stripped down and redressed in sleek black pants, a vest, spiked bracelets, and fingerless gloves. At first, he's very much confused as to why they never got punk boots, until Manic flexes his own bare feet and presents a bottle of black nail polish. He's momentarily stunned: him, becoming a barefooter? But after hearing about the youth's experiences, he decides it really can't hurt anything, as he has done it before in his younger years...
He sits down and gets cozy, giving his fingers and toes to the more knowledgable hedgehog, watching his nails take on the black color with an excellent sheen. This polish is either really expensive or just one of those cheap-but-really-good brand.
Part of him is still unsure about it... Thankfully he has his own way to add a flash of professionalism, wrapping a tie around his neck despite not having a shirt, and he attaches the skull clip onto it rather than his vest. Manic nods in approval, continuing to work on his new friend's pedicure.
Maybe now Chuck can finally get a boyfriend, or at least hook up now?
