I'm sorry for the lack of updates, I beat the covid and I'm back to my regular (still poor) health but now I'm having a lot of work. It's very hard to work on a project when you work 10-12 hours plus 2 hours driving to and back.

But despite all that, I always find a couple of minutes to sketch something.
Episode 2 of Brina is coming.

Making this comic is a challenge, not only because of my tight schedule but because it takes place in a version of Earth, that despite being furry and fictional still needs to look like Earth.
My regular Futurepig comic is easy because the setting is spaceships and futuristic locations. However, for a comic taking place in the 20th century, you can't put random pipes and weird aliens in the background. Car, houses, furniture, and clothes need to look believable. It sounds easy, but it complicates things a lot.

Anyways, here is Brina playing the guitar. The character keeps taking shape.

I keep wondering whether I would like her music or not. I don't mind heavy metal or dark topics, but that so called growl style is what usually leads to recycle bin. Man I can't understand two words even in my native language, bonus points if I'm not sure whether it's my native language or not...
(the same I'd say about classical opera)

And yes, I see your problem (and miss those futuristic backgrounds), but I'm sure you'll find a way. Just making the mundane landscape in your style is already something that catches the eye.

I love her and I love this project.

I wish you well. Can't wait to see more of this comic...!!
