I want to do a much bigger collaboration of stuff that's been big for me the last few years - but here, I wanted to draw something showing a lot of my big inspirations and what I've been up to this year. :3 And part of why I feel more Owlnard than Oxnard right now.
We have Oxnard on the left gesturing his paw to the back, and Owlnard was doing the same but, it blocked a lot of view so he's politely keeping his wing to his chest.
In the front center we have Berdly Deltarune - a cocky bluebird from Deltarune that was just neat and funny and an obnoxious gamer - but I grew to really like him the more I found out about him. I want him protected and stuff. I also ended up roleplay him and variants of him a lot, and made new Deltarune friends through him this year.
On the top right I actually have N from Pokemon, facing us backwards, since I was so into him this year, watched all his parts in the anime, obsessed over that Ferris Wheel song, experienced his story in Pokemon Master Sex. It was neat!
Funny enough Chuck E. Cheese was a big fun thing for me this year? I love mice and rodents, and his whole "Poggers" moment on Twitch was funny, so I looked into whatever other streams I could find online but so much of it was left a mystery since they didn't save any videos they did. But, I liked that they tried to adjust and do the right thing with pandemic stuff, and had some silly moments, it was a fun lil thing to cling to. :3
Deltarune came a while after that, so I also have Ralsei on the top center in the background. He's so sweet and calm, patient and understanding... I like seeing him with Berdly a lot! And I think I like my owl's tired eyes and things from him. To a lesser extent I roleplayed him too! And even though I get that we're being set up for something there, I still can't help but love what we got of the guy.
Blathers is another surprise influence! Honestly after the Animal Crossing update later this year, it was fun doing one more big thing in the game with everyone again. And kinda like I was roleplaying Berdly, I was very into birds, and just hanging out in roleplay chat things. I figured Blathers would be fun, so I started chatting and playing as a proper, polite owl and goodness I loved it! I especially got into a song called, "These Hallowed Wings" that just really got me into the role. Made more fun friends and memories...
And then, as I figured I might pull an Oxnard where, I try and roleplay a character, but then get out of character and too sexual too often, I should just make my own polite birdsona. But! I already had Owlnard from a while back, underused! So, now was his time to come back with a distinguished, polite personality. Hoo!
...I think I'll also squeeze in a Plague Knight and Among Us here. They were big chunks of the year, but, maybe didn't change my personality much. X3 (Well maybe more Obnoxiously joking about them...) I did make a full Among Us comic though that was a big part of the year for me, sorta. And I would have put Fall Guys in here, but with it ending kind of weird, I don't want to look back on stuff I feel bad about. Just gonna move ahead and know that I enjoyed it while I did. :3
