Considering the way that ended compared to Grim's darker ending comics, Divine Extinction's ending didn't get as much out of me as Addictions did. It's not as if they died all at once, extinction =///= genocide. Otherwise all the enxtinctions we caused nowadays would be classed as that.

Actually, if you go back and pay attention, the hints were dropped that despite being a bit of an ass in the ring, he was a decent friend and thought mostly of his family. Once he started this journey, he started looking for reasons to vilify his friends and family for the sake of the new narrative he was falling to.
