Happy New Year! Here's a six-minute-long animation starring me and Lucky! It took a month and a half of full time work to complete and I owe it all to my lovely, wonderful patrons!
I've got big plans for the new year. Since I'm now a full time artist I have a lot on my agenda. Big animations, small animations, mostly little experimental projects. Think of me as an art student first and foremost; I need to build my skills before I can make it for real in the world as an artist.
This project was definitely a good introduction to a lot of things besides plain animation, such as video editing and voice acting and juggling music copyrights. It's also oddly specific, me expressing my literal feelings for my job. You can expect my future animation projects to be more focussed; either more zany and funny, more sexy, more dramatic, or more artsy fartsy. I'm all over the board while I'm learning and can't settle on any one thing just yet! So thanks for hanging on and coming with me on this wild and creative ride!
what animation program did you use for this? I have been playing around with*Flipaclip* which is a nifty free 2-D animation app you can DL on your phone or tablet. Which is amazingly versatile, and well worth playing with. I was looking into "Open Cartoon"... but the UI is all in Japanese! --GreenFur
