"Zira was asked by her sister, Sarafina, to babysit her cubs, Simba and Nala. In this timeline, Simba and Nala are brother and sister, and Sarafina is mother to both of them. Zira is Sarafina's twin sister, and aunt to the two cubs. Sarabi is a good friend of theirs, and is pretty much considered a sister to the two lionesses, so Simba and Nala call her aunt too. And Zira, well, she had a surprise for her niece and nephew. They were gonna have cousins soon. Both were excited, Simba hugged his aunt, telling her he wanted to see them soon. Nala, she felt Zira's tummy to feel their cousin's moving. Both wondered how cubs got in Zira's tummy, since they hadn't been given the talk yet at their age. For all they knew, Zira could have swallowed the cubs to put them in there. They were too young to know how cubs wound up in a lioness's tummy. All Zira could do was find her niece and nephew's innocence and excitement adorable. She had names picked out for her cubs, but she had to wait, since she didn't know what gender her cubs were yet."
-For context to everyone, Zira's facial structure has been changed up a bit to depict that she is a good lioness, so her head shape looks more like Sarabi and Sarafina's. She still has her signature stripe and nose, but now her face looks a lot smoother, and not as jagged as her movie counterpart.
