Here's a story they wrote for this:
"In an alternate reality, Simba and Nala are Sarafina's cubs, both are tiny tots, and Zira is their aunt, and she's currently pregnant with Kovu and Vitani. Zira is carrying her napping niece and nephew to their nursery she has set up in her house for when they visit. She had recently expanded it, since she had two little ones of her own on the way. She knows the two in her tummy will be as rambunctious as their cousins, which will be adorable. Were you not familiar with Sarafina and Zira, you would almost mistaken Zira for being their mother as well, with how much she loves and cares for her niece and nephew. Granted, Zira has had the thought of how big her belly would be with quadruplets inside her, but she would never want to rob her sister of her cubs. Being their Godmother was reward enough for her. And she would ensure that loon of a relation Scar would never get anywhere near her neice and nephew or her own cubs."
