I think a lot has changed from the original intention of the story, and all things considered, given what's happening right now, it would be interesting to see the story ended on this note, and then transition to shorter comics later on to give more context to this relationship, IMHO.

The latter point is true and I do intend to do shorter or one page things with them later, but the comic had very few changes once pages started getting posted. I've had every single page sketched from the start. There's still a bunch left.
