Looking at this page again after recent pages makes ya realize how both the Beheeyems basically saw the same thing and yet had different means of approaching TiNi/Pearl's headspace regarding his appearance and thus his natural effeminacy.
Especially considering he was repressing his interest to be feminine for a long time, likely because of toxic masculinity reasons considering how people in the ring treated him for it, but the antagonistic one took that and made it mean "You're actually a repressed egg" while Nonspon later on told him otherwise that he can be feminine and a guy. That last panel especially, replace 'a girl' with 'effeminate' there and things basically sound less crazy with that panel in a vacuum.
There's also the chemistry thing ofc but I'm looking at it with the narrative of the comic itself as opposed to looking deeper into that other part.lol Just interesting to look back on previous pages and go "Ohhhhh if it went like 'this' instead of like in canon things could've been handled way differently here."
