Here he is! If you all remember the poll I had a while back, the majority of people said that if Chuck was in Sonic Boom, paired with Cliff, he should be a fellow archaeologist, so here he is!

In this universe, Chuck is still very intelligent but tends to live a more lax lifestyle. However, things changed when he met the other old gent on the island, and the two struck a very pleasant relationship. Chuck was happy to see someone who did work for the sake of enjoying it and finding things rather than making money, and Cliff was happy to have a cute old man invested in his stuff.
Of course, as they grew close and decided to stick together, some sacrifices did have to be made... Chuck was too used to going without shoes, but any archaeologist worth their salt knows that's not safe. After weeks of thinking, they finally settled on a compromise, and Chuck sports some leather cuffs to at the least offer some protection from falling debris while keeping his soles uncovered.
As Cliff's boyfriend and assistant, he's primarily the scouter, making use of topographic maps and forging paths to any location of interest, using his smaller size to navigate tunnels that Cliff's lanky frame can't fit in. Interestingly, with his toes exposed, he's also pretty good at climbing places freehand.
A bit more of a risk-taker and forward, Chuck is still submissive in the more intimate aspects of his relationship with Cliff, and usually will back down when the other gets more assertive.
Also he is not related to Sonic in this universe, and doesn't go by 'Uncle' Chuck
EDIT: I realized his feet were too small so I fixed it with proper proportions! I tend to give Chuck the largest feet out of any hedgehog, putting him on par with Bark.
