There's lore reasons as to why both Mary and Sofi are connected to Rush. Mary got lewd with Rush during his youth, and gave birth to one of his children, Alexio. Later, when he's older, Rush took in Sofi after her supposed death and Alexio is in her family's care. Rush is Married to Sofi when she was still young after being adopted.
