At this point, I don't know if Alex deserves anything in his life. He lied to his friends, became a punching bag to someone who has gone though worse s**t than he has, and has developed a level of Stockholm Syndrome that no amount of psychotherapy can change. Of course, that's just from my perspective. Abuse is still abuse, and nobody deserves it.
