The planet Mobius has always had its fair share of dangers. Dark creatures that threatened to conquer or destroy the planet and all that inhabited it. Creatures from other planets, dimensions, and timelines visited the world with evil intent that for many it would have felt like it happened weekly. When a shadow spread over one of Mobius' cities, most just looked up in curiosity, while others looked on wondering what new foe had come to challenge those who acted as protectors of the planet. As Sonic watched the decent of what could only be described as a giant space whale, the only thought he had was "Looks like things are about to get more interesting."
How little was he aware that the arrival of this creature, and the endless legion of creatures it carried, marked an event that would change the world of Mobius forever.
