The deuteragonist of the Shaw Metrix Series, Felix Yagablin, a character I considered to be my first explicitly gay (male homosexual) character.

I drew this when I was only about 17 in 2001. I wanted a partner for Shaw and this was my first sketch of this character.

Despite being the second most important character, this was actually the 8th character added to the series.

Felix is a very effeminate boy who only is "attracted to" other boys. He is ostracized at the orphanage for this which maintains strict gender and sexuality norms. He befriends Shaw, the other social outcast for his various deformities.

Felix has ears that flop down like a rabbit but has a long furry tail like a cat. Although there are no actual species categories in this series (every individual is essentially their own species), Felix is best described as a kind of "Cabbit".
