One of the most clear-cut black-and-white self defense cases in the history of law and the PROSECUTION gives the DEFENSE even more clear defense in their favor during their opening statements, then tries to shout objections during the Defense's opening statements pointing this out.
For example:
- Confirming the convicted serial child rapist that the defendant shot in self-defense was armed with a chain. Until then, this was conjectured by us supporters on the sidelines but not confirmed.
- Shooting a hole in the "carried a weapon across state lines" claim, regarding the defendant living on one side of a state border and working in the other. His gun was actually stored on the same side of the state lines as the incident took place and was never "illegally" carried across the state line.
Of course, I don't have faith in our justice system. I don't predict justice to prevail even in a case as clear-cut as this where there is literally zero good faith argument that the defendant, Kyle Rittenhouse, didn't behave in a perfect and even exceptionally admirable manner through the whole ordeal.
