This is another watercolor. As with Feathercat, I started with a sketch in ballpoint pen on 9x12" Strathmore watercolor paper. I then did a black wash over the cat to create light and shadow, followed by the red background. I then layered on red, yellow, brown and white to create the cat's face, and blue and brown for the eyes. I am very happy with this piece, and I hope you will enjoy it too!
