This picture idea came from another one of those things only I seemed to notice in animation and everyone scoffs at when I bring it up. In fact, I think I may have brought it up before. I really wanted to draw Culania again, so forgive me Agumonofalchemy.

So, this is based on a scene from the film “The Brave Little Toaster goes to Mars” (seriously) where an infant character is crawling up a set of stairs. One of the appliance protagonists latches onto the rear flap of the infant’s pajamas with his power cord, in which you can tell the infant has nothing on underneath it like those old cartoons such as Lullaby Land. The appliance inadvertently pulls off the infant’s pajamas, and the infant now suddenly has a diaper on, even though in the last shot we saw he didn’t. This has always bugged me since I was a kid. Were the animators really that inconsistent?

Anyway, it is a fun idea to draw. Poor Culania was getting hooked by an unknown individual, but luckily Luna’s diaper appeared on him due to the inconsistency. I’m somewhat pleased with the posing, though I’m not entirely satisfied with Culania’s anatomy. I was trying to make his body more toddler like, though it ended up looking older. This is likely due to my own impatience and my support layer mannequins. I need to do more editing. I also got confused with how to do the onesie. It doesn’t help that I was going for one of the “between the leg snaps” while Culania canonically wears one with the buttons near the waistline in front.

This idea takes place after one of Agumonofalchemy’s pics, where Culania unwillingly gave his diaper to a friend who lost theirs.
