no.22: Feline
Sadly, with more days behind us then in front of us, we reach the final stretch of October with our Top Ten. Usually this is a more momentous occasion for these countdowns, as that's where I start putting the best of the best but with a list already prepared for me that's not quite the case at least not until we near closer to the Final Five and I start heavily changing the list, but I'm getting ahead of myself!
Feline was another very vague entry that I nearly combined with the former entry of Canine to just be some were-creature and add in another species to fill the slot. That was until I called upon my love of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland again and was filled with the longing to make a humanoid Cheshire Cat and then couldn't get the idea out of my head! It was a design I had sort of dabbled with before and this was a chance to actually flesh it out and I really like it. I'd like to return to it someday, perhaps try my own take on Wonderland as a whole, but that's an idea for another day!
In terms of a character, it's the Cheshire Cat. What else can I say? You should know what to expect, or better yet, what not to expect! This did fill my quota for something more lithe, playful and mysterious as well as being the 'best of both worlds' if you catch my drift! Why? Because, its the Cheshire Cat and if it isn't throwing you for a loop in someway or another, then it's not doing it right!
