This is Verana, the sister of Verenar who I have posted earlier
The first thing you'll notice about her is not only the coloring that she inherited more from her father's side, but the very similar name she has with her brother. How did that came to be? Well, their mother, Vyriana, is a green dragoness, and because both of those hatchies ended up as green dragons, she had the privilege to name them. And what better way to flatter herself than to derive their names from hers? It might have been difficult for her to wiggle her way out of this given that Verana also bears some of her father's colors, but since she also the feline-inspired paws of her mother, the argument turned out in her favor.
Although Verana borrows from her brother's stoic personality and she displays similar traits with him in her desire for balance and harmony, she is also influenced by the meanings associated with the color orange. Unlike her brother, she is more joyful, positive, energetic, and more prone to experience the world through action than cogitation. This almost always put her at odds with the civilized world in which she lives in, for she has reduced regard for the societal rules and the laws of humans out of ignorance rather than a superiority complex. She lacks her brother's extended patience and seldom studies a people from sources other than direct interaction with them. In short, she can be a bit of a brat, both as a hatchling and as an adult.
Being more excitable than Verenar, she is easily fascinated by one too many things, which can lead to long moments of distraction that deter her from the task at hand. That doesn't mean her free spirit isn't kept in check though. When she sets her eyes on a goal or focuses on a task, Verana's determination can often surpass that of Verenar, aided by her sharper wit honed by her more extensive foray into the midst of civilization.
Where Verenar is prideful, Verana can be arrogant, relishing her privileged status as a dragon far more than her brother does to employ it to her gain. This almost always stems from an elevated knowledge on a subject or heightened experience with it, so if treated with patience, she can be an immensely valuable asset.
Like the fire and lightning abilities that she possesses, Verana is erratic at times and can possess a shifting nature that contrasts with her brother's mellower, easier to predict one. She also brims with passion when she takes a liking in someone, willing to forsake the natural growth of a bond in favor of more immediate pleasure if the attraction is strong. However, she doesn't share herself with just anyone. Her affection burns strongest when she nurtures a feeling of safety, trust and comfort with a partner, preferably one whose abilities and wit are equal or surpass hers, for she is too energetic for anything less than that.
The only exception happens in the case of inexperienced sexual partners, who she is very patient and caring with. She is particularly fond of the male variety and derives great and surprising pleasure from being with a male who lusts her so fiercely that he spends inside her within a matter of seconds. The emotional side of intimacy is just as important as the physical stimulation in her case, and she always encourages the males not to hold their passion back for her, for she wants to experience the unadulterated version of their craving for her.
When it comes to her choice of partners, Verana prefers males for longer, perhaps permanent bonds, though she is perfectly happy to spend time in the company of females as well. Being more open and direct with her affections in this regard, she frequently makes her desires for intimacy known rather quick, yet she is always ready to point out that she is not looking for a prolonged bond, as her greatest desire is to form a family of her own.
As the picture suggests, there is a silly, playful side to Verana that will never flee her, and her more elevated combat and magic prowess compared to those of her brother make her reckless and in need to be tempered at times. Life can too often turn into a game for her, and Verenar has to be there to remind her of the real stakes they are facing.
