I'm just going by history....actually we are living in one of the most peaceful eras of history with no worldwide conflicts for 67 years (despite many many regional wars) mainly due to nuclear weapons. Usually there have been worldwide wars every 30-50 years for the past 1000 years

War is a fact of life, Man has done it since we were able to pick up sticks and beat someone else with it, Animals do it over territory so do we, war is a constant never ending part of life, its never gone, only in remission til it appears in your area again.

While in a technical sense it claims to be correct, that is infact still a very war ridden and violence prone time, including near constant conflict in modern day germany and modern day france where the local population continued to retaliate, 60 A.D. is a good example of the Pax Romana's failure when British isles were lost to the romans, though they still acted like they were at total peace, even in pax romana there was maybe 1-3 years of true peace, and that only counts them, leaving out china, and the african nations alone with the near constant state of war american indian tribes and south american cultures endured at that time.

Why do I find these so enjoyable? I guess it's a combination of the art style and the humour, making it look like you're not taking it too seriously which in turn makes it like a laugh with a few friends and highly enjoyable. :3 Even if it does promote the old architype of horny foxes.
