My Adopted Cubs

This is the newest cub that I adopted from Slyryn on DA. His name is Caden and he's quite intriguing.

Caden was born in an unknown region in the Northern plains of Africa. He had golden fur with a brown mane and purple eyes. He lived with his parents from when he was born. But lived alone after he became a cub. One day, he woke up in the cave he called home and discovered his parents were nowhere to be found. He assumed they we out hunting for food, but after half a day, they never came back.

Caden weeped in tears, for his parents had left him and he had no idea why. He was able to survive on the food his parents collected from the day before. From that point on, he began hunting on his own. Caden found hunting to be rather easy in the region he was in. He able to drink from the ponds and feed off the fruits that grew on the trees. As he got older, he began hunting other animals.

Every night from the moment his parents left, Caden would sit on a rock and look up at the stars until he falls asleep. For a while he kept hope that his parents would return, but as time went by, he gave up. He found isolation life rather enjoyable. Caden felt relaxed, knowing that his home was now his land. Hw would often see other lions prides over the hills traveling fields beyond his homeland, but never encountered them. Caden basically remained in the confines of his lands. But when he was a young adult, he decided to leave the land and travel the rest of Africa, hoping to find adventure, and possibly….his parents.

But he didn't go on the journey alone, Caden was joined by his good friend, a lioness named Rhaena. Caden had known Raden since he was cub, for she lived on the other side of the cliffs with a pride of her own.
