An unfamilliar alley
The non-Anime Canal bridge
A little glimps over Madlaines hometown of Ysselven

As it turns out to become a weekly new background, I am also partial happy with this one and partial unhappy.
What I like is the complex ground pattern and the great looking trees.
But I failed on the curves of the fence and the perspectiv of the lamp. Still I think this a much lighter background than the alley. I tried to give the pic more space for the eyes to relax.

I really like this one. It looks like a really pleasant town, and downright cozy nestled in under those mountains. The detail on everything is really nicely done, too, especially the paving stones in the little park/observatory, and the bark of the trees. I like the little crest on the post there, too. And the heart carved into the larger tree. Gee, I wonder who put that there! I can see what you mean about the fence and the lamp, though at the same time they still look pretty good, I think, and the more open spaces in this one do kinda help. It's fun to see you working more on backgrounds like this, and I hope we'll get to see more in the future, too!

Thank you. I think working n such backgrounds improves me a bit and helps me to draw a bit traditionaly. it is made with pen and paper after all. Working with it, improves my style by forcing me to draw very carefully. You can't just "undo" a wrong line.

And in "homeoffice" it happens I draw a bit and so this might actually become a weekly thing XD

the lamp post looks fine. It's the bench that's a bit off perspective wise and that throws the eyes off on the lamp. Only other issue that jumped out was the curve of the fence on the right.

Yes. That fence... I fought with it. First I drew the central fence and it turned out "bend" a bit. Now on the right one I tryed to make it look on purpose, but trying to mace a 2 way curved fence, IN perspective, just killed it completely XD

Still it is a nice error I will try to avoid. It just shows that I am learning and improving and therefor I like it!
