Home: High Wind Gulch (before becoming Avian City)

Info: I thought it was time to draw Baron's (Boot Hill Buzzard) parents in a family photo of some kind just like I have seen other animated films have pictures of the main character's parents altogether with him/her as a baby (Tarzan for example). Everybody in their lives, hero or villain, has had parents in their lives, beginning life as an infant before growing from childhood to adulthood, making the rest of how they live and end their lives a mystery. The father's name is Avery and the mother is named Becky. Not much is known about their past lives, but Avery and Becky have known each other since childhood and grew up somewhere on another part of the mesa where they were able to attend school that allowed vultures in, eventually becoming more than just friends by the time they married and moved into High Wind Gulch, back in the earlier days when the town was descent with good job offerings, regardless of species. That was 6 years before finding out that greed, corruption, and discrimination ran in certain parts of the town, but the couple couldn't afford to move out as they had no plans in knowing where to go from here, nor did they wish to leave the friends they made behind that always gave a helping hand, such as Clarence HawkTail, the town sheriff, soon to be the father of Harmony HawkTail. Sometime later after the birth of their son Baron, times were becoming hard for the family, facing segregation when they found that the school banned vultures from attending, sitting in the very back of the church, town meeting, and theatre house. And the job that Avery worked at was soon not paying him that much, leading him to resort to gambling where he hoped that all those wins would help pay off some of their debts and keep food on the table, which his wife was against the idea, fearing that gambling would lead to more trouble than solve it. Her fear came true on the day that Avery left High Wind Gulch out on business in another town where he claimed that this may also be an opportunity to find better job offerings and an education for their son. However, gambling had already become an addiction when he couldn't keep himself out of saloons where games of poker and cards were held. Obsessed with winning, a drunk Avery made the mistake of gambling away all the money he earned from past wins that he intended to use for family savings, losing it to a bunch of brutes, which erupted into him getting into a violent brawl with their boss, which cost Avery his life when he was dragged to the gallows. The news of Avery's death from a telegram deeply affected Becky and Baron deeply that during this time, Becky fell into a deep depression when not knowing how to make ends meet on her own to raise Baron and give him what he needed in the town run by scum, and started drinking which made Baron go to Harmony's home for a short time, scared that he was losing his mother's love. This caused Clarence to intervene and hope to try in helping Becky to come to terms with the tragedy and be there for Baron, whom she still has in her life. Before he had a chance to go and fix all this, Clarence was shocked to find that due to not paying the rent on the house and the rest of their debts (having fallen too far behind on them since her husband's death), Becky was being dragged out of the house and about to be taken to federal prison, to which Clarence tried to put a stop to and make every effort to appeal this case, but to no avail. Having enough of the injustice, prejudice, and segregation running amuck, Clarence lead a rebellion to drive out the corrupted scum out of town, even though he lost his life in the end before High Wind Gulch was renamed Avian City. To this day, Becky is still in federal prison, serving whatever sentence she was given while Avery's grave now stands at the Avian City cemetery where Clarence had been taken, unable to see what had become of Baron over the years and of Harmony starting her long journey to find him.
