I really need to get in a better rhythm with posting here, but I have another one from my Fantasia album. This one is called Via, and it actually has a story behind it.
I started composing a song that I called The Journey a few years ago, and it was supposed to sound like the end of a journey, hence the name, but I could never get it past the basic chords and a slight bit of melody. I have a preview of the original over on my OneDrive if any of you want to listen to it.
I didn't change much about the song when I moved over to using GarageBand, but at first, I couldn't get it to sound right. I made another preview in GarageBand, but I didn't quite have the instrumentation right.
Then once I got some other songs going, I tried to come back to it one more time, just to see what I could do with it. I don't know why I returned to it. Third time's the charm, I guess?
But it really was the charm. And the result was Via.
