Hey, the Aesthetics are your choice :P You will never please everyone. ^_~
Personally I think they held a fine line between being cute and being hardcore in the comics and the show. FOR ME PERSONALLY, going cuter is a bad choice. I think that version of Sonic needs to be redone without being nearly as tame as it was done originally.
With regards to you wanting to go cuter, You were successful. :P It's VERY Cute! ;) and it CAN work by the way. Just look at shows like My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. They were able to pull off some super cute and hard episodes with the aesthetic. ^_^

lol thanks, and I did the other scene more show-accurate, but yeah at the end of the day it was a kids' show, but that didn't stop it from having a very serious tone, I Mean they were freedome fighters, Sonic didn't save the day, they were fighting to take their world back after already losing. Many of their loved ones had been and were being transformed into robot slaves, and those scenes were pretty horrific for a kid!

Yep, LOVED the Show. <3 Inspired me to get the comics once I learned those had existed hehe. Also watched Bucky O'Hare and the Toad Wars. Maybe that's why I am so against Nazi's xD
also, oops I responded to the wrong comment lol.

Don't get me wrong, I like and appreciate a streamlined body as much as you do - once the chest is beyond a certain size it's just gross - but there's a difference between a runner's physique and having to guess their gender from a distance.
She does have a fine ass, however.

I guess. I've never relied on chest size to help me realize someone's gender, but I know what you're saying. I gave Sally a perky petite-ness that in this chibi style shows a lot less than intended, but in my other scene you can see what she's working with. I think irl a completely flat chest does nothing for me (altho in drawings/fiction I am here for it,) but small, petite, perky, that's all what i'm about.
