I´m kind of surprise that I never post this drawing on any of my sites.
An old drawing I made a couple of years ago.
This one is showing something that pup Snowy likes to do, reading about space.
Also, he likes to read while listening to the tapes that came with the magazines.

I don´t remember where this idea came from.

I guess he could be, although, I´m not sure how I came up with the idea of drawing a cassette tape player.

Saturn made of mostly hydrogen...Imagine flipping a lit match on that one.

No, rock, dust and ice. The planet itself is mostly hydrogen.

Being giant size like Jupiter, it is likely the gravity is so immense that there is a point where the hydrogen gradually becomes a liquid from being so pressurized. And the closer to the planet's core, the hydrogen is compressed to a solid state.

In an article I read up on Jupiter, they speculate Jupiter is that way because of it's immense gravity also compressing it's gasses.
It is speculated that on Jupiter, an average person would weigh 2 and a half to 3 tons, and the atmospheric pressure is far greater than it is on the bottom of the Marianas Trench...In an unrelated video, I saw where it said a solid steel ball at the bottom of the Marianas Trench would be compressed to a slightly smaller size than what it normally is at sea level.
A person on Jupiter would be crushed beyond recognition.

In theory that is pretty much right. And lets not get started on it's radiation! That makes it hard too study it's moons which are in many ways more interesting then the planet itself, in fact many of the future probes too both planets are targeting their moons more then them.

And it's rings were just blobs too him in his basic telescope. He did discover Jupiter's 4 biggest moons though.

I've seen all mentioned in at a local observatory, amazing!
