This is a checking pencil from The People's Republic of China. The brand (so far as I can tell) is 'Friendship', as opposed to that simply being the name of the pencil.
A checking pencil is one that has a red core on one side, and a blue on the other: these pencils are typically used in proofreading, and/or (if the pencil's a Col-Erase) editing line art.
I like to think this pencil is making a (very unintentional) statement about diversity and coming together. :3
Of course red and blue make purple, but the red and blue here aren't trying to blend into one another---rather they respect and enjoy their own and each other's differences. :3
Ok, I'm reading too much into it---it's just a cheap (albeit unsharpened!) pencil I rescued from (what may as well be) a dustbin at The Scrap Exchange. :p
Obviously, I didn't use a colored pencil to draw my ACO. I drew Dog via my Wallace Zephyr and delineated them via my Twenty Grand pencil.
