Unlike a certain other badger (if you know, you know), Alex does not like mashed potato.

Tried a slightly different way around drawing this one, which hasn't come out too bad, just the normal off-model scale as per usual! Oh, and his right hand. But, I know me, and I could spend far too long trying to make it right and it probably still wouldn't be anyway.

The trick is to use fatty milk, cream, butter, cheese, garlic, a beef stock cube, parsley - and he will love it! x3

Must admit, my drawing does look somewhat unappetising. But that's because I'm not a great draw-er.

Usually if I make it, I usually have butter and parsley in it as well (occasionally coriander) - not tried with garlic, and I wouldn't put cheese in it myself as I'm not too fond of cooked cheese... beef stock cube, hmm, not sure about that one...

(Also, for those who don't know - look up Bodger and Badger - BBC Kids' TV show from the 90s)

That food doesn't look bad. x)
The garlic can be really good (you can try just seasoning a little bit of mashed potato, to see if you like it).
The cheese melts quickly when grated into it. You notice a better flavor, but not much different texture. Just gotta watch not to add too much.

I dissolve a stock in the hot milk, cause it yet again adds extra flavor, works surprisingly well. And I cook the potatoes in water with another stock as well (unless I have some leftover chicken soup I made or something).
I got these from all kinds of chefs, mainly Marco Pierre White.

I gotta look into that coriander, as I haven't used it before, I think.

I tell ya, a beef stock cube and he'll stuff it in like candy! :3

Boy, oh boy, does beef stock cube make it tasty! And garlic, parmesan cheese (not sticky!), milk, and buttah'.

Maybe I'll make @SenZontova try it, then you will believe the annoying Milo and his boy-oh-boy, delicious stock cubes. :9

@ @DefeatedFallen It's funny, I was JUST viewing/reading this post yesterday and your recipe with the beef stock sounded amazing.  I love even basic mashed potatoes, but that sounds delectable. I'm definitely going to try and make this!

Gimme a sec, I'm looking for a Marco recipe video ~
Glad to hear you're open for it. Stock cubes aren't an evil thing. They cook a huge amount of soup, and it's something we can't do at home. Yes, we can make our own stock, but even that can take a cube. xD

Oh yes, this is the video where I saw the basics of a good mashed potato, but mainly the added garlic. It changes so much!
The stock cube is later stuff, but they all work together perfectly.
I think Marco was 27 here ~

Fun watch, I'm checking it out now.  And yes, garlic I love, goes well in so many recipes, and some decent health benefits to consuming it in the right quantities.  Thanks for sharing this, now I'm hungry LOL!

It is fun, though wrong video. xD I have no clue which recommended garlic, and even the stock cube, but it DOES work. Point is, I always get praise for my mashed potatoes, and have always empty plates. :3 And I bet, the cute, sexy badger boi up there would empty my plates as well. :9

Ha, no worries, I was re-watching it and trying to find that part, thinking it was me just missing it!

With recipes and ingredients like what you've shared, I think both that badger and my squirrelz would happily clean your dishes well enough that the dish-washing would be minimal.  They'd probably ask for seconds and thirds!

Also, hopefully Mat is OK with us blowing up his post with comments.  He's gonna get spammed with notices LOL.  Hi Mat ;)

Yeah, I thought it was that video, but I probably mixed up Marco, Gordon Ramsay, maybe even Jamie Oliver's recipes. One thing is for sure, it's really tasty, just gotta add the amount and thickness for your taste. :9

I'd be glad to feed those boys. :3 And of course their favorite meats to go with it. :9 What would Caedyn go for, btw?

I hope Mat is fine with it. I still gotta buy a "calling" phone, so I can get to IM with you guys... :S

Yum and more yum!  And now I'm thinking of Gordon screaming at everyone, sometimes for little to no reason XD.

Well, Cae is me and he'd love some cooked & seasoned asparagus and either some nice filet-mignon OR salmon, with a touch of pink to the inside.  BUT in the furry world that would be highly illogical and cruel, as squirrels are not carnivores, and filet-mignon / salmon would imply that cows/bovines/fish are used for food :(

Maybe the salmon would be a little more logical.

I'm not a vegetarian IRL, but it would sound mean in their world.  So how about let's go with "imitation, plant-based meat" LOL (imitation fish?) and some savory asparagus to compliment those potatoes, to keep it wholesome in Cae's world :)

BTW, don't forget about Discord.  I do recall you said it 'went south' for you, but really it's the best platform in my opinion!

Lol, Gordon is a showman, Marco is the grand chef, while Jamie is the softie, which is the home cook's friend. xD I don't care much. If an element sounds good, I try it. If it's good? Profit!

Yep, I figured he'd go for nuts instead! :] And yeah, there's a reason for why I don't keep chicken and alike anymore. (Although it was more than easy to slaughter chickens that enjoyed pecking at other chickens just to hurt them. D:< Boy did I turn those quickly into chicken soup!)

That said, good idea! I should buy some fish again and bread that! Recently I only had tuna.

I'm no vegetarian either. xD But I know how things go. It IS shit to turn into cold-blooded slaughter mode. Beyond bad. Buying meat isn't better either, but at least you aren't the butcher.

Fine, I'll keep it in mind. It should be more fun with more of you fun-type guys. :3

I dunno, Jame Oliver got rid of Turkey Twizzlers in schools so he's not that much of a softie.

Well, he pretended to be in TV shows. He accidentally joked about Gordon's wife's miscarriage though, so he's kinda-sorta an asshole somewhere, even if not really his fault. He didn't know, I think. Still, Jamie's mostly a pussy.
