This is a little event I come up for all my patron to have some fun. It's a story of young hybrid pony-changeling who try to find her father.
This is "Your Decide Picture series". Or I call it "Comment Driven Story". All of patrons will decide what happens in this story.

Wooden Swords may have poor conductivity, but when it's covered in other-more-conductive-stuff (blood, water/sweat/saliva, coal from the wood charring from fire or lightning) it will conduct electricity pretty well! She must keep that sword clean, so swing it around much to let any unwanted residue fly off of it's surface, and as a plus, maybe also defend against physical attacks.
I won't question why the wooden sword wasn't cracked in half by the lightning...must be a well made sword, like master crafted.
If She's skillful, She could launch an air attack that does not aim to cause harm, but cause a sonic boom, and maybe she could change her direction of fall...Bird could also use Her BIRD SKILLS to fly/glide! She may be completely flightless, but maybe still somewhat skilled on gliding using her feathers and hollow boned = light body. I mean, if she can launch an attack into the air, she must be able to land safely as well, and maybe thought on countering her more vulnerable stance while mid-air!
Help her, but don't ASSUME she is defenseless! While support-helping her, also keep your own defenses up! Nobilis might simply faux-attack the bird, just to lure in young queen, (since she is his chosen opponent in this ?honorable? brawl), who drops her own defenses, and walks into an attack of his...

I fully agree with your comment! Just let her deal with the situation herself; she actually has 4x the HP reserves we do, so have her perform some defensive manoeuvre (perfect guard probably?) and let her glide to safety.
Meanwhile, let's hit our opponent with a big aeroblast! Lighting head probably cannot recover this fast from the last blow and it's sure to draw at least some attention if we do + heavy damage if we hit!

So you say/suggest...that young queen should jump into lightning head's mouth, who is still likely to be dazed and semi-defenseless, and she could win the fight by stating, that she is in perfect position to puncture his brain, if she would attack upwards. If the other heads know what is good for them, they better surrender or risk having 1/3rd of their heads dead in the future. Quite the pro gamer move! =XD
