Ahh, my best work yet, it's a masterpiece...!
Actually... I don't know exactly how this came to be... what time is it? Where am I?! D8
"Forgive us, Oh Dead Bones, for our ancestors knew not what they did, imprisoning you here by refusing to dig a tunnel large enough for you to reach the surface world... though they faced your devastating wrath for it!"
For some reason beyond my reckoning I was in the mood to look at Kobolds. Aren't they just the coolest? I ended up filling the "Favourites" on my FA page with them, after not visiting FA for about 6 months! XD
Anyway, the one time I actually played a game of DnD I made a Dragonborn because, while a Gnoll would have been cool, I didn't want anyone thinking I was a furry or anything, right? X3
Heck, if I had actually paid attention to the available races (and scrolled down the list! XD) I would have played a Goblin... instead of a no-good 'honourable' Dragonborn. Bad guys are more fun to play, and I made my Dragonborn totally rip some beggar's arms off and eat them, before I actually bothered to read the info about who and what the Dragonborn were! X3
It was only after perusing a manual and stuff that I found out what the Kobold were. And there I had been thinking of those... things from WoW! F*#k! D8<
ANYway... here we have some Kobolds... who, instead of a Dragon, are worshipping the skeletal remains of a hapless Dragonborn warrior who got separated from his companions and lost in some labyrinth. I'm sure his companions mourned his loss... maybe...
Trapped underground, he was made the unwilling ruler and deity of a Kobold tribe whose tunnels were far too small for him to escape through. Needless to say, with their refusal to dig a bigger tunnel and let such a 'divine' creature leave them, it was either start eating Kobolds to survive, or let them worship him and bring offerings of food.
...
Eating them didn't seem to deter the Kobolds from trying to worship the giant, so eventually he stopped. He never was a particularly intelligent Dragonborn specimen... or very nice.
In fact, I'm sure his adventuring companions were glad to be rid of him, and went on to find fame and fortune!
Now, the bones of this nameless warrior still rot in the depths of a lava pit, worshipped by his Kobold tribe...
This was pretty damn spontaneous... O_o
But, at least I managed to give my DnD character the rest he deserves, I guess. XD
Also, the pickaxe was random... and gave me the idea of putting some minecraft people in... that is, in the lava pit, of course... but it seemed a bit much.
I do like the magic swirly thing, though. =3
