Never to be outdone, Metal decides to show that even robots can get fancied up! He wanted to outdo Sonic and actually wear a complete outfit, but sadly the pants just couldn't get a good fit to his chassis. Realizing he was 'naked' from the waist down was a bit of a let-down, but seeing as many of the others are bottomless or barefooted, it's not as if he'd stick out that badly.
Still, he feels having his 'shoes' feels off, and has a spare pair of more natural looking appendages. Now if he can just choose and hurry off to the party!
