Ok everyone, so it's FINALLY time I upload these drawings. I've teased them long enough. And these were actually were supposed to be uploaded close to a month ago or so. So again, I apologize for the major lack in drawings and uploads. But I've been extremely busy to the point where it's both physically and mentally worn me out. So energy and motivation has been totally gone lately.

But tonight, I'm feeling enough energy to at least upload some stuff that has ALREADY been drawn and finished. As there are LOTS I gotta upload lol. So we'll go ahead and get started with some good ol' fan-art. Like the last iteration of fan-art, there are 4 drawings in total that I drew. And this drawing, simply being the 1st one out of the 4.

And also like the last iteration of fan-art, this is also of someone new from a series that I have NEVER drawn before as well. And this series being VERY recent, as it was released JUST last year. That series being (very clearly) Elinor Wonders Why.

At first, I knew absolutely nothing about the series. I KNEW of it, as it was very hyped up. And I've seen some of my artist friends create drawings of the characters from the series. But I never watched it yet, and I also didn't have an interest for the series AT FIRST.

However earlier this year during the winter months, I started to slowly but surely get myself interested into the series. And I started looking into the series, and started to learn about some of the characters. And since I get channels that show the cartoon, I started to eventually watch the series on TV. And I also was able to watch it on my computer via internet too.

And once I started to watch the series, I started to slowly but surely get myself into the cartoon. Which I gotta say, is quite interesting. As I very RARELY get interested into a cartoon from the modern era. As my interest in cartoons is mostly the 90's and 00's. Not to say I do like a FEW cartoons from the 2010's era. But it's very rare that I do.

So the fact that I got myself into this cartoon, is definitely a rare occurrence lol. But truthfully, this cartoon actually features some cute characters! And not to mention it is very helpful and entertaining for kids. I think they did a great job creating this series. Not to say maybe there could be a couple of improvements made, but overall I love the cartoon as a whole and I think it's really well made and animated. And it's become one of my favorite cartoons, not gonna lie lol. Though it doesn't rank high on the list, it is a series I very much follow and enjoy watching.

So that's how I got into the cartoon/series. Now let's talk about one of the characters (that I've clearly drawn above). And that's Ari The Bat :3 One of the main characters in the series. And he's one of the first characters in the series that I took an interest in. Not to mention I like Elinor and Olive too, But Ari is simply a male character.

And the more I watched the series, the more I got to see more of the characters in the series. And eventually I would get interested in some of the other characters too. And eventually, yes I do plan on drawing them too. You'll have to wait and see who the characters in question are......Lol.

But anyways I digress. So Ari was the first character in the series I got interested in. And it's not just because of his presence as a character, but I also do share a lot of personality traits with him as well. As much as I'd love to talk about how I compare my personality with him, I'd be here all day explaining as to why. So I'm going to "bypass" that topic for now lol. But overall Ari is a cute character. I love his personality, and (again) his overall presence as a character.

So where did the idea to draw Ari come from? Well, first off it's something I've been wanting to do anyways since I got interested into the series. And also recently, a really close friend of mine actually drew him himself. So that only kinda kicked my motivation in gear even more to draw Ari lol.

And so close to a month ago, I selected 4 poses I wanted to draw. And along with 4 other drawings, I got right to work and sketched out 4 drawings of Ari. Drawing Ari was actually pretty easy. The ONLY detail I thought was hard to master was his eyes. But they still look pretty good if I say so myself. And other than that, drawing him was a breeze I think.

However when it came time to color him, that's when it would become tough for me lol. As Ari's skin colors are confusing to color just right. And when I draw, I wanna make sure I get the colors just right. As like I've stated MANY times before, I like perfection with my drawings. Or at the very least, as close as I can get to it lol.

But overtime, I figured out the coloring as best as I could. And it may not be perfect, but again it's close to perfect as I can get lol. I think it looks almost spot on. And it definitely took a lot of careful coloring, which took over an hour or so. But in the end the work was worth it I think.

And with that, here's the finished result for you all! So this pose was one of those "official" poses you'd see in a sponsored/promotional image. Usually, I like to be different and draw poses taken from scenes in actual episodes. But I figured this pose was too good and cute to "not" draw lol.

So with that, what do you all think? I like how it turned out overall. Again, the coloring might not exactly be the absolute best. But it'll be as close as I can get lol. As I don't have the tools of the trade for my drawings to be 100% spot on. And I never will, as I love my current style of drawing. But anyways, overall I'm definitely pleased with how that turned out.
