Many pharaohs claimed to be close to divinity, but no ruler of Egypt ever got as close a Queen Alkhisha. Infamous for her direct way of worshipping the gods, or perhaps seducing them is a more accurate term. Yes, seduction is definitely the right word to describe the events that one sweltering evening in a peaceful oasis, where ocean goddess Nefertori liked to rest. But who was beguiling who? The flirtatious pharaoh, lusting over the statuesque shark deity? Or the aquatic goddess herself, actively enticing the queen to wrap her up further, eager to see how far she could push her? Only the gods may know…
