I have a bad habit: after public streams a lot of time passes until I actually upload my works... But this one is finally here and finished :D For a long time I wanted to make a picture where a dragon sits on his treasures, because I really like this fantasy trope. But I switched gold and gems to books, because it gave an extra meaning to the picture. And on one hand I also wanted to practice the small, almost minimalist type of backgrounds too. These type of backgrounds always highlighted the characters very well for me :)

With how much random and sometimes never to be found again by anyone else literature I've accumulated over the years, I can say I relate heavily with this particular dragon.
